Best Summoner Frame?

Which summoner frame is the most fun? Which summoner frame is the most viable for late game?

what do you mean by that? like nekros or revenant because they have thralls? they are pretty good

I think Nekros is the only real summoner frame. I don't like him, because even with Shield of Shadows he's pretty squishy.

There's some mind control frames like Revenant and Nyx. But that's more about minions than summons.

Khora has a permanent pet.

Protea summons a max of 2 stationary turrets for a short time.

Honestly any frame is viable. Just play what is the most fun for you. Not what's fun for someone else.

Also Equinox can have a similar (but weaker) effect for a short duration if using her specific mod.

Then there's Mirage who summons clones of herself.

And if you stretch the definition you could argue Nidus summons magots with his 4th ability.

Any frame can be a "summoner", considering you can build eximus-specters and have a little army of minions. You can only have one of each type at the same time.

Ressources-wise, it's a black-hole type of sink, if you rely on them. Since they are consumables and that you have to build them in the foundry.

- Best frame-specter (in my humble experience) is a 5* Volt. Again, very costly to build.

- Best summon is a Railjack crew member (Combat and Repair maxed) equipped with your own best weapon. Unique trait ("elite" crew) doesn't matter much I think, it's just icing on the cake. And that one is free but you need to unlock it first by gaining Railjack xp.

First not true. Depends on build mods ans your skills as a necro.
Second good survival necro can withstand almost everything and summons are nice live shield.
Rest as always depends on your playstyle, and frames really don't matter too much good trained operator and mods rest is just cosmetics. Full ranked mods can turn any frame to god level.
Well Didn't play a while but i will test these new frames soon.

Well Didn't play a while but i will test these new frames soon.

I found the shadows to be an unreliable source of DR and require permanent babysitting to make sure you don't lose DR. It's not a frame that you pick up and just play and it requires a bit of experience with him to make it work on higher level content. Since I play every frame and only have a handful of "favorites" I tend to play frames like him the least due to the way he plays.

I tend to bring him only on low to mid tier content.

Uhh, Nekros can easily survive steel path Circulus if you know how to build him. His durability potential is incredibly high.
