Impact Kuva Bramma?
I accidentally "forged" my Kuva Lich with Kuva Bramma using Baruuk... Is the impact version of the weapon gonna be bad?

You only created lich with impact bramma. You didnt fuse your current one, making it impact. Right?
As Max wrote, take this one and make another one with... element of your choice.
I recomend Toxin. You will make viral with only 1 mod, then add Hunter Munition and thats it.

honestly, depends on the content you're doing and your build. Unless you are doing really late game stuff or steel path it shouldn't really matter. Your mods matter more and you can always use a good elemental combo.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: Impact is currently one of the weakest damage types. It deals bonus damage to shields and robots (who cares).
Its only 2 uses are stacking up the procs to either mercy kill an elite enemy or to combine it with one of those "chance to proc slash when procing impact" mods.
And those mods don't even work on AoE effects - only direct hits, so Bramma can't even use that.

So yeah, you made the worst version of Bramma possible.
You want either Toxin, Heat or Radiation, optimally.

Advice on how to operate with kuva / tenet fusions to save time and effort:

Don't rush to fuse any new one you get. Just keep collecting them until you get a high roller (40% or higher). Then start fusing starting with the strongest one.

When you fuse 2 of these weapons - the resulting weapon will have bonus equal to the strongest of the two x1.1 or 10% stronger.
So if you fuse 25% and 50% - you receive 55%. After that you need just 1 more fuse to reach the max 60% bonus.

By playing a long game and waiting until get a high roller you don't have to waste fusing 25 and 30 only to get 33 and then fuse it with 50 to get 55 when you could've used the 25 one for an extra fuse to reach 60. Am i making sense?

You could also just keep that lich as one of your converts. While the weapon might not be the best in our Tenno hands; as a Kuva Lich helper it might still be useful.

Yes you do! Got it, thanks for the advice :) I'm already having fun with the weapon even if it needs a lot more upgrading

5 arrows, forget about this pos, investing so much in something that unreliable feels like being robbed, try kuva tonkor, tenet plasmor, proboscis cernos, envoy, even those mid guns feel better

Yes, actually i agree. I still have much more fun with Nataruk. That bow is incredible, it melts lvl 140 enemies and has infinite ammo. To use Kuva Bramma you have to: have Carrier equipped; use gauss or any other warframe that is capable to fully resist knockback or you'll be stunned every 2 seconds; always go around searching for ammo. It really is very cool, but often it's a bit a pain in the *ss to use.

Or uh... You know... Take your calculated shots carefully from high enough range to not get affected by your own AoE and then swap to secondary when ammo is out?

When you take an RPG instead of your AR - your pistol becomes your main weapon. That's how it would work for literally any other game and that is how devs envisioned the AoE rework. They even buffed and polished weapon swap speed across the board for that exact reason. And some of our secondaries are pretty powerful too, so its not like you are left with subpar weapon when switching from your empty Bramma.

Yes, thanks. I know how to play Warframe. That's the point, i prefer to use a primary weapon with which i don't have to "worry" about ammo. Especially if i really like it (cos i really like Bramma) and i WANT to use it, i don't want to use my secondary. If i choose to use Bramma then i am forced (if i don't have carrier) to stop using it at some point and wander around searching for some ammo and always pay attention to where i shoot (in terms of distance from where i am) to not get knocked back. Soooo if you want to use Kuva Bramma then you won't use Kuva Bramma at some point XD and this doesn't make much sense to me. So I prefer to use a weapon that i actually CAN use, like Nataruk. MY PLAYSTYLE and MY PREFERENCES.
This DOES makes sense don't you think? :)))))

so your two problems are ammo and knockdown
you know ammo mutation and sure footed are a thing right?

Yes! My point is that i prefer to use a weapon for which i don't have to set up an entire build for it whene a weapon like Nataruk is just much more efficient and it doesn't require to have 2 mod slots occupied just for it and a specific sentinel. And however sometimes you'll still get knocked back cause you need Primed Sure Footed for 100% resistance to knockback and it isn't even tradable.
