Best elements to deal with Corpus robots.

Can someone please help me with building anti-robot weapon? Electricity is good against robots, but by itself it gives me too low of a damage boost for higher level corpus planets. What secondary element would be best to apply? It seemed like most of the popular elements like corrosive or viral have penalties against robots, instead of damage boost.

Toxin ignores shields, Magnetic saps shields. So you could technically run both.

I use Toxin + Magnetic on weapons with high Impact or Slash damage. Magnetic shreds robotic health and shields in general and any humans are usually killed by toxin because it ignores shield.

Viral actually works but with status weapons because each Viral proc amplifies damage to Health (Not shield). Personally I don't use Viral that much unless I'm lazy changing mods. My favorite is Toxin + Magnetic against Corpus.

I used to run Magnetic + Gas on my anti-corpus builds that could get a high status chance. Since gas clouds did a DoT that was toxic (dunno if that's still true) it pretty much melted everything. Corpus units are more shields than health most of the time and the set up slaughtered most Corpus units. If it didn't hit their exact weakness for max damage, it was still enough to make most battles with them pretty easy in the majority of cases.

Magnetic + Toxic was a good substitute for similar reasons.

But nowadays it's hard to argue with Viral + Heat to slash enemy health and strip armor so I use that for pretty much everything, including top level stuff.

i usually run radiation-toxin. toxin bypasses shields and radiation has bonus against their armor and robotic health, plus frenzy to buy me a few seconds if i run out of ammo or something.

Magnetic isnt as important if youre bypassing shields with toxin

It's not, unfortunately. About two years ago it was changed to deal gas damage instead.
