Mastery Rank 3 Test: What's wrong with the Dev?

So I just got a friend into warframe and he told me mastery rank 3 test was absurdly difficult to complete plus it was bugged so I decided to try it myself. Logged into his account and to my surprise I couldn't beat the test with a potatoed magistar full damage and radiation plus he had Rhino also potatoed and with 200% shields and armor. When you get to the third wave, grineer lancers and corpus melee appear, making a deadly gang on you, as if you try to hit one of the lancers the others knock you down and corpus feed on your corpse. if you go against corpus first the result is exactly the same. Hit and run? Don't even think about it. A yellow moa is also spawned, shooting you from the distance and knocking you down as soon as you place one foot in the ground. Not even jump attacking works as there are too many enemies and they get up before you killed two of them as they have an abbusively high lvl (15-20). The only reason I can think for this nonsense is to oblige people to buy better weapons as this test is intended- let me remind this- for 2-3 days beginners.

I remember the test being 3-5lvl with butchers and grineer grunts so I just runned in circles spamming "E"

EDIT: The bug was related to mision not failing after death and making you wait for timeout.

Use Ground Slam. I had to try Magistar because I remember that test being easy. I removed all mods from Trinity and Magistar only had maxed Fire and Electric damage and Fury, nothing else. I died once because 3 Shield Lancers spawned at the same time but ground slam made them defenseless.

I'd say what's wrong with you. I used a jat kittag only with only stance mod equipped with Rhino P modded only with vitality, redirection, flow, and streamline, finished it within 1 minute. Stomp and be done with it.

Use Magistar and remove all mods from your Rhino if you gave him maxed Vitality and Redirection. His friend doesn't even have half of the mods that you have and all of them are definitely not maxed.

Ground slam worked perfectly fine for me. You're not fast enough if you let them surround you. They always came in nice pack toward me, I used ground slam once and they were all defenseless.

And I already done it the same just now. A Stomp is what you need and whatever weapon is okay. Tops I died once because of those shield lancers, but jump-attack to ground is the key.

Here's what I did to pass the test on first try: equip dex dakras (you get those dual swords after 1st or 2nd quest I think), apply mod auto-installation.
When you've entered the test, spam/abuse the following:
crouch jump high in the air, aim at the floor, press e to stomp, press e again to execute the nearest enemy. Rinse and repeat until the test is completed. If you are running low on health and/or armor hide behind one of the pillars to recover some of your armor.

Wrong. All Dex weapons are Anniversary weapons and you get them ONLY if you're logged in certain date. Also, Dex Dakras do not knockdown enemies. It will only stun them which makes them harder to use against Shield Lancers unlike Magistar that throws them in the air and leaves them open for Ground Finisher.

One more thing, you're immune to stagger and knockdowns as long as you are attacking with Magistar. Swords do not have this feature except heavy swords which means you have to block shockwaves and Scorpion/ Ancient hooks.

You talk as if you had done the test yesterday. If you had gotten some info before postin you'd know that no abilities can be used and jat kittaj is a rank 6 weapon. So before you keep saying nonsense take a second before posting to gather some info.

Your problem seems to be that magistar is horrible.
It's slow which means you will trade hits and it doesn't even do damage to make up for its slowness.
You should use something else although this shouldn't be a problem for rhino either way.

The main thing here is the lvl of the enemy minions. Of course I can keep knocking down and staying out of their range but a new player can't. I myself have used maces against waves of MOAs without getting knocked down or staggered. I'm not saying this for myself but for the community as almost every decent melee is above rank 3 so this makes it impossible for someone who has been playing for 2-3 days to complete. If my friend was to complete the test by himself he would get freaked out and probably quit the game.

I think Corpus melee with electrical atribute, which lowers your speed and damages overtime, combined with lancers that are almost immune to slash and on top of it all of them lvl 15+ is a bit too much for newcomers.

That could be the problem BEFORE you encounter lancers. They are sturdy af against blade weapons and bo is not an option. anyway what I'm tryin to say is that this is a test meant for newcomers not fot someone that knows how weaponery and modding work
