Do grinding bots exist in this game?

im talking about fully automated bots that can farm sellable items such as perhaps rare gold mods that can be sold for platinum profits. A bot that just repeats a mission again and again and again in solo mode.

I have never seen this being brought up, have you?

none that i seen, also warframe has a pretty good cheating detection and if an account is found to have been cheating and they can see all trade history and if its banned for boting then odds are the main will be banned if they trade with themself directly (either all the items for nothing or "gifting" plat to their alt) and thats not unheard of being banned for "strange" trades, and cheating bans are perma bans

Very well i guess so. Do you suppose there is a reason someone would run a bot account in this game other than the hypotetical reason i wrote at the title?

nope, the closest thing might be alt accounts for like sorties or something but not a "bot" cause it would get perma banned

It would have to be an exceptionally sophisticated bot to be able to navigate a random environment with random spawns over and over. Like, you could do a macro to nuke the map to do a defense mission for a while, but that's about all I could see being reasonable.

yea i saw years old thread in wf forum but some say they exist, some say no. The former without proof though.

yea some guy who apperently dont play wf told me bots exist in all mmo game including warframe after i mentioned of this game.

my own view to bots in wf is that it would be ridiculous to have bots in warframe. Maybe some macro users to spam trading chat but that is as close at it gets to botting in warframe.

but being an open minded person i am, i ended up asking this forum anyway.

If plat selling is a thing in this game then it wouldn't be surprising to know a bot or automated program exists as well for it. I could see it slipping by regular players considering you can have private and solo games. I also don't recall if Warframe even has a anti cheat software like Easy Anti-Cheat. I know they have monitoring stuff so who knows what could be out there.

There are resource drones which you can send to planets. But they bring in so little you might as well play the game

Defense bots could be a thing, but with all the other RNG in the game I don't see much other content being that bottable.

And anyways the content that actually brings in a real profit is too complex to make a bot for, maybe there's a couple out there, but not as a commodity tool for players like in WoW.

Bots are there to ruin economies, and in an account progression game it's hurting you by extremely slowing down your progress.
