For your question, there is no way to get the Iron Man beam anymore. You might be able to do it if you did not complete War Within.
Otherwise, for now its just Amps.
The Operator can become extremely powerful, fyi, to the point that people often talk about how if they were to become even more powerful, most Warframes would become redundant. But that does take a pretty dumb amount of investment, not only in Focus, but Arcanes and amps as well. So it's understandable to say "♥♥♥♥ that" to that grind
Also it isn't so much the void beam as to the reason I'm likely going to quit, but it's all the little things this game does to get under my skin. To keep it short, as I'm too tired to list things, the game is not very new player friendly.
That is kinda the REALLY big thing here. Your operator capability remains constant and continually growing no matter what frame or weapons you bring. Operator allows stealth without bringing a stealth frame, allows healing without a healing frame, damage without a damage frame, cc without a cc frame. Many of these things can be done at once no matter what frame you have.
