Are kavats worth it?

I have about 12 hours left before my kavat is ready to use. They look cool but i barely ever see other plays use theirs.
Are they worth it?

Absolutely, I use mine all the time. Only time I don't use one Kavat is when I switch to the other one (Adarza to Smeeta).

Adarza will give you and your team a 20% crit chance boost for ten seconds or so and has Cat's eye which reflects damage back at people
Smeeta will give you a random buff which can range from affinity boost to double resources and can also include faster reload and a 30% crit chance boost but only for you and the other one is it sends out a Loki clone to distract dudes while the original goes invisible.

I much prefer them over Kubrows cause their loyalty doesn't degrade either so they always do max damage.

They have powercreeped loyalty, so you can let them die at will and they will always love you.

The crit-cat buffes crits massively.

The loot-cat can randomly increase drops of items, which is also pretty neat.

Even if you dont use them in combat they're nice to have around the orbiter

Carrier with the loot container mod can't be beat.

I see no reason to have a pet for damage, we already destroy everything. I can see a use for the increase drop, but the amount of loot you get from Carrier just breaking everything open and grabbing it for you, while you just bullet jump by, how can that be beat? Just the increase in Ayatan stars you will find from Carrier breaking open all the containers is more than worth it.

Well, I don't believe Carrier can increase kuva gains for one.

The Adarza Kavat has a Mod that Increases your Crit Chance by 60% Flat for 10 seconds.
If you need a Damage Bonus, absolutely.
Also, they dont give a ♥♥♥♥ if you/they die.

Smeeta is useful if you care about Kuva.

The animal companions are only worth it imo if you pair it with a warframe with the in-mission hp and armor to allow them to surivive.

Inaros and Wukong Prime? Sure, use the kavats all the way up to Sortie 3.
Nova P and Vauban P? No, use a sentinel because otherwise your weak defensive stats will cause you to constantly need to revive the animals.

Smeeta Kavat do not give a +30% crit chance, they have a chance to flat increase ANY weapon to 200% crit chance. So they give you guaranteed orange crits, no matter how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the weapon was before. Also, Kavats actually have a better Loot vacuum than carrier (13m vs 11.5m I think) The only think they lack is carrier breaking open containers (which you can do whith coptering) and (imo the most important) carriers ammo cache converting ammo drops to the one you need. Though that is minor and I would never use a sentinel after having gotten my kavat now.
