Probably not the absolute best gun in the game but it's pretty amazing. Currently with my main build of Burston Prime + Lex Prime + War and Valkyr it's pretty great, especially when Gilded Truth is attached which might well push it over into one of the top tier weapons.

i would say its a high teir weapon. theres better stuff out there when you go just by the numbers (eg. soma prime or tonkor) but you will easily get through all of starmap and some void w/ the burston prime.

I don't like it at all, but that's because I dislike burst weapons in general.. They can waste a lot of bullets if the target die on the first shot, and they can get you killed by having to finish the burst while another enemy shoots you

Soooo it isnt like the be all and end all of guns, it can be outclassed by weapons like the soma prime which i still see alot of people use and still use it myself, However the burston prime is the only prime weapon with access too a syndicate effect and that gives it a very very unique standing point, I have and love using the burston prime finding it effective in just about every mission type though it starts too lack in the endgame a little, But too answer your question of is burston prime good my answer is Yes it is one of the better prime primarys, Gilded truth carries it however

Don't spew out nonsense, just because it isn't a crit weapon doesn't make it one of the worst, that's just stupid.

It's allright. With syndicate mod is pretty good, but it's not, for example, Soma or Grakata Prisma. I personally don't like playing with it. Plus, one would think the massive spike on the front would do something, like give you 25% flat bonus to quick melee when Burston is out.

After playing Borderlands so much, for me personally, it makes sense or at least adds to the usability of the weapon. I just don't like designs that are flashy for flash sake.

In Warframe weapon can be considered great if it has either HUGE raw DPS, good crit potential or good DPS+utility.

Burston Prime has some utility (it heals with syndicate aigment) but has no crit potential and it's raw damage is not that awesome.

It's a good weapon for a starchart, but not very for high level stuff.

IMO, the usefulness of Burston Prime's main feature - high accuracy - allowing for easy headshots is somewhat diminished by the low crit chance.

I can confirm that Burston Prime is very great, BUT you realy need some heavy trigger discipline, if used correctly Burston Prime will be one of the last guns to run out of ammo in longer missions
true its not one of the most DPS ones but it is very good imo

also its one of the best allround guns, if you dont know exactly what you are facing
since you got evenly damage types
