More focused on getting the suspended effect instead of others that use the repelling mod. Just how Iike to run him.
Thanks for the suggestion! I am surprisingly trash at Vauban for the time I have played him, so might I ask what I should be aiming for when modding bastille? I know that when it comes to him, and some other warframes, there isn't really a thing you can ignore when modding, for example duration. I currently run a hybrid build for both bastille and vortex without any forma (I'd get around to doing that if I didnt have a hardearned greater lens on it and I fear to lose it due to the glitch), so I was also wondering what is the better ability. With some people I play with, they tell me to stop using bastille and use vortex instead (yes I know vortex should be used on infested but this is for some reason the case with grineer a lot), so I am confused about the situations for each. It's fine if you don't answer it as I want some other people's insights on this as well, but I'd like to just put that out if anyone wants to take the time to answer some of these questions.
I really depends on the map layout and what your goals are.
Vortex: Amazing to deal with infested in more narrow fighting arenas
Repelling [mod] Bastille set up: Good for open ended fighting arenas vs infested.
Non-Repelling Bastille (what I generally use): Better vs enemies with firearms.
Also depends on your group goals. I like the set up I posted above for JV as I don't want to push enemies away, and want the group to maximize killing as many per second as possible.
Unless it has been fixed already, the glitch where forma'ing things with greater lens causes the lens to degrade to a normal lens. I would hat that since I had to do a bunch of sorties to get the 4 lenses required
I know of repelling bastille, use it sometimes, but I find it to not repel really well so I avoid it. Thanks for the answers, its great to know more depth of these abilities, so probably my final reply here: with bastille would it be better to go for strength or range or duration? It seems to me the ranking for those would be from most important to least: duration range strength. Here's the thing Strength seems sometimes more important to range as it can allow bastille to hold more enemies, but range gives a bigger area for enemies to be captured. I could sacrifice duration for strength, but that seems like a bad idea, so what would be the priority? strength or range? Sorry for these text walls, and thanks for all the help
