Reward chances of doing sortie 3 solo

Some say doing sortie 3 solo incerases your chances of getting a specific unchecked reward, others say it doesn't.

Well, the only unchecked reward I have is the Snipetron Vandal barrel for a week now and I have been doing all Sorties 3 solo.

Cores, cores, cores and 2 blue potatoes.


So is this theory just hokum and RNG is the sole decider in the end?


Once this season ends, the rage will be massive cause a lot of people will simply not have that weapon. At least with the previous reward system, there was a large pool of duplicates to trade from. That's how I got Nehza, I kept getting helmets. It was just a matter of finding peope who kept getting systems and chassis. We all traded and we all got happy with our Nehzas.

Now, the only people willing to trade/sell are the tiny playerbase who played closed beta and those with alt accounts. That is not enough to ensure that most of us will get this weapon at all. It will probably take half a year or more for it to return in sorties.

No. I have a theory that it chooses a single reward and, if noone have gotten this part in this season, gives it to everyone in party. If few people already have it - everyone will get cores or something like this.
Anyway, it is just a theory. Devs know this reward systems sucks, and they said some good things about overhauling it quite some time ago. I think it will be there on season 7.
P.S. I got my last snipetron part only two days ago. Just don't give up.

It picks one reward regardless of who has already received it, afaik- it's possible for some members to receive a non-repeatable reward even if others already have it (who instead get one of the repeatable rewards). I'm speaking from experience (for example, when I got the last strun wraith part I needed- a non-repeatable reward- one of my squad members was complaining about getting cores again).

I've seen this happen too, players get cores (or another repeateable reward) when a reward drops for everyone else, that they alrready have.

I confirm it seems to works that way.
The loot pick is the same for everyone in the whole table, no matter if repeatable or not. If you happen to already have the picked item, it swaps it for 25 cores for you, and rewards that piece to others who don't.
This notion of non-repeatable reward is screwed. System rolls everytime the reward from the whole list and not a "short-list" purged from the already looted items...
So, the more you get from this non-repeat list, the more likely you'll get cores, and this is cr4p.

Got only cores from last few solo runs, which is stupid considering that I only had two snipetron parts, nezha chasis and one lens from season 6 rewards list.

I'm not complaining about sitting on a pile of over 1600 gold cores atm, but at the same time, I imagine it can be frustrating, because before, you could at least trade the duplicates you got for non-repeatable rewards you hadn't gotten yet. My RNG has been pretty swell since they added this system (got all the sniper vandal parts in under a week), so I thankfully haven't had any problems, but that's just my personal experience.

I agree getting cores is ok, but only cores is frustrating.
And the roll feels rigged, in a way that there is no equal chance to get this nezha part from that legendary core, which is unfair because the loot list is large enough to suffer from a variable chance on each item.
And nezha should go away from a few season to give space back for dera vandal which was here for too little time. I'm pretty sure most of us a few complete nezha sets we don't know what to do with, as it doesn't sell, (unless we could dump these for ducats).
And gg for getting the snipetron already, you're within the chosen few favored by RNGesus :)

so, you got blue potatos? well, lucky you - for no matter how often i do the sorties (solo or not) i never got any potato (or exilus adapter). either i got a lens, a weapon part or cores.
that said, no i never noticed any "better" chance to get unchecked stuff when doing the in solo - its all about RNG (and with some NOT fair distributed chance to get specific stuff (like legendary core, parts and potatos (at least for me it seems ^^)).

oh, btw: the way it is now, is what a lot of ppl WANTED it to be - less duplicates they called for... and they (and the rest of us, who were happy with it, too). i wish people would think first and then call for things they might even get...
