What is the Best Place for Farm Vestan Moss?

I found a good amount on that sabatage mission on saturn

M Prime on Mercury is good and easy, can keep scanner out while sentinel/pet kills everything. Got a minimum of 14 per run fwiw.

The least I ever found was 11. Maybe you didn't get a lot of that one room that always has 2?

Use the cehphalon scanner (one used for sanctuary targets) with the double scan upgrade. You get 2 plants per scan.

To help get more, you can use the Syndicate Scanner with the widget that gives you a chance for two scans, which will give you two extracts.

I know this is too late for you but to help others - go solo or with friends so you can take your time, search thoroughly - often found on top of ledges and behind rocks in loot rooms - use the synthesis scanner (chance of double scan and it shows up through obstacles). I found enough in 2 runs, (12 & 16)

Enceladus on Saturn was the place (6-8 per run) to go for me, since on Mercury I managed to find, like, 1-2 :/

Caloris on Mercury is the best way to find veston moss... it's a really easy mission and you have pratically to worry only on the research of the moss... 10-12 for every run

In case anyone is still looking for the trick to Vesten Moss.

Vesten Moss isn't so much a model as it is a texture so due to occlusion you will not be able to see it from below, even with a scanner. Which means if you want to find it you need to get above it.
