Charm
Is there any reason to put this into top left slot?It should add more priority to this skill but since it's chance based i am not so sure that it works this way..

Companions use thier precpts in the order they are installed.

I have my Charm in the 6th slot with combat precepts in the top slots, and get Charm activated quite frequently. The main reason would be to have it activated more frequently. The chance is what kind of charm it activates, not whether it activates or not.

Yes. The main reason people use kavats is the charm/the other crit buff skill. You want your cat to use it as soon as it is available

So ugh,you guys are contradicting each other..i understand that if i put some mod in top left slot it'll have more priority and companion will probably use it more frequently, but charm is a chance-based mod..
Well,i'll wait for more answers.Thank you for your input anyway.

As you can easily swap polarities to have it in the first slot there is no reason not to do it.. Ive had it with Charm in both slot one and in the bottom row and I cant tell any difference. Too focused on slicing stuff up to sit with a stopwatch timing the intervals between Charm buffs anyways. I really don't think it makes that much difference but as I said: no reason not to have Charm in slot one.

No contradictions. We both put charm before the other kavat mods so it activates as soon as it's available.

Read what anon said about the chance thing:
