Can't do Sands of Inaros co-op

I did Sands of Inaros when it came out, and now I want to help a friend through it(and get kavat scans). We did the first part fine, but when we have to return to the tomb with the vessal, it says all squad members must have a sacred vessal.
So...is there any way to do this or does he have to go alone(and I miss out on the scans)?

If you have already done the quests, then no, you can't join him in his quests. The quest is only available for co-op when both player hasn't done it.

To make kavat scan easier, grab Heliocor and beat those kavats to death. Time efficient.

That helps, but the drop rate combined with low numbers of kavats is still pretty painful. Oh well, I'll deal with it.

While solo, one exterminate will yield 6 kavats, while full squad will give 12-16 kavats per run. Good luck

If you already done it, you just have to go in your equipment and put the vessel back in your "gear" so you can help your friend. :D Just redid the quest last week to help a random player. I too, did the quest when it came out. But be sure to equip it at the beginning of the quest to also have the "kills" requirement in the same time, with your friend. By the way, kavats can be found in infested area, but they are hard to find.

It's not in my gear anymore. Pretty sure it's consumed at the end of the quest because you open it.
