[RESOLVED]I might have been IP banned, what is the duration of such a ban?

After a long time of not playing the game, I decided to try the game again.
I was trying to log in to my old account and entered the wrong password multiple times.

Eventually I logged in to my account and booted up the game, but for some reason it would say that I could not connect to the network, I tried launching the game again but noticed it would get stuck on "checking for updates", I could also no longer access the warframe website.

After 2-3 hours of troubleshooting I found out that I might have been IP banned.

I can not access customer support, because to do so I need to actually be able to log in to my account on the website.

Does anyone know if there is anything I could do or how long such a ban lasts?

Few things:
1. You're suprisingly calm about the situation. That's hard to come by these days.
2. The ban lasts to January 1st 2035.
3. You can contact support to get your ban lifted. If you weren't playing for a bit and you find out that you're banned it's because someone tried to get hold of your account (God only knows why) and therefore the support suspended it. As I said before, just contact the support under: this address https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us .

Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for your response.

The thing is though, my account isn't banned, my IP is banned.

From what I've seen from videos of people throwing a temper tantrum about being banned, they get a message when they log in that says until when they have been banned, I only see "login failed" after getting a message that says I cannot connect to the server for a while.

I managed to log in on the website before though, so that's why I think my account wasn't banned.

I have already tried to reach support, but to be able to submit a request I need to be logged in, which is not possible because I cannot access the Warframe website.

You can use a different IP to reach the website.

This exact situation happened to me several months ago, the ban lasted about a day. It is not a 20 year ban.

12 hours or 24 hours - or you can try getting a new ip (if you have dynamical ip from your isp).
other than that, don't use multiple accounts (if that is the reason you got the ip-ban).

Tried to change my IP and it turned out I have a static IP address.
I'll just wait it out I guess.

Not entirely true, support does regularly lock-down accounts that have been unused for an extended period of time. These can usually be unlocked by contacting support.

explain to me the logic behind this?so lets say i want to take a break and play something else,by break i mean 2-3 months break.
after 3 months im coming back to the game and my accounts is banned?that is ridiculous if it's true

Locking as OP resolved their issue.

Also, if account is inactive for long time (like a year or so), it goes into stasis mode (with same message as ban). This is done to protect the account's owner from possible or happened unauthorized login attempts. Fix is as simple as contacting support and asking them to unlock the account, they'll do it immediately and also list what happened during it's inactivity period.
