Ascaris Negator?

Without spoiling anything, is there a reason the ascaris negator remains an option in the Foundry after the Vor's Prize quest?

It won't have any uses and currently there is no reason for it to remain in foundry, but apparently it's intended. Maybe we'll need it in the future.

Wiki says no use after building but also goes on to say:

"After finishing Vor's Prize, this item will stay in your inventory. This is intended according to Digital Extremes and is confirmed to not be a glitch."

Yes. If you ever get caught by the G3 they will place one of those things on your warframe and you will have to build it to remove that device.
Edit: I confused it with the g3 bolt

I thought so too at first, but that's not Ascaris negator. Lotus sends you Grustag Bolt negator.

Would be neat if there's an obscure but highly rewarding reason in the future that's not well publicized nor documented that's only discovered if you randomly happen to think about reproducing an item that a person would logically assume there'd be no reason to a second time. When I saw it remains like any other blueprint, and being a lover of obscure goodies/rewarding easter eggs, I took a mental note to remember it's there...
