Kela De Thayn
Has anyone else run her since this update? I just made 3 attaempts against her, and i cant beleive how tuined she is.. I ended up trying my Tanky Rhinoo build, and still 1 rocket was enough to peel Rhino skin, 1100 shields, and 800 hp in a single rocket.. Every attack she does completely removes Rhino skin, so its useless to cast.. Shes throwing out so many rollers, that much of the fight is against them, and she seems to be casting rockets at a faster rate, as well as jumping far more often, making shots against her even more rare..

Im not complaining, so plz resist the urge to "git gud", because its not at all helpful.. I went from being able to solo her, to not even being able to get beyond her shields.. (which i find rediculous on Grineer anyway)..

Anyone else having FAR more difficult a time doing things you used to be able to do, prior to SotR? I noticed the difficulty spike immediately, but i find that im being confined to only the first 2/3 of the planets anymore.. No im not great, i just play for fun, but man.. I was able to alot more before these changes, and playing beginner stuff is just not fun.. But running into a wall isnt either..

Kela and all Sedna missions had a buff in the update because the planet were re-arranged. It changed rank from middle-high level grineer planet to highest level grineer planet... so yeah this planet is harder than before

Conversely, ceres went from highest grineer to middle-low and is way easier...

Didn't see anything different. Even sortie fight against her was pretty easy.

While typing decided to check it out again and it was even easier than I actually remember. Took only 8 direct headshots to kill her. Died twice due to my ego standing still and collecting rockets with my face, but if you move around they are easy to avoid.

DE are incapable of making fun, compelling boss fights. Its just not something they do well.

Its either cheap gimmicks like phases, forced invulernability with wait walls or one shot deaths and tons of control robbing crap all over the limited area map.

Boss Fights are NOT Warframe's strength. And worrying, much like Archwing, they keep getting worse as opposed to better over time.

I actually really like Kela's bossfight. I like how it's designed to keep you on your toes by actually giving you objectives to complete within a short amount of time instead of just having you kill the boss really fast.

Lephantis is pretty good as an actual boss. Not overly cheap, has weak spots, and overall looks like a boss.

Have you seen the first wave of bossfights before they reworked them?
My guess is you haven't. They might not be the best bosses, but DE vastly improved them.

Same for Archwing to be frank. Yes, some people don't like the camera or the movement in tight spaces, but overall it's gotten a lot better compared to when it first released.

Definitely. Lephantis, if a bit slow, is intimidating in appearance and fun to fight. I feel like bosses overall would be more fun to fight if they were more reactive with stagger animations, rather than just taking bullets to the face. Or, in the case of very large bosses, it would be fun to use Warframe's parkour system to climb on top of them to attack.

Kela's missiles are slow, so they can easily be dodged or allowed to fly into a wall. NEVER face tank them, they kill anyone. In fact, most of her skills are almost one-hit ko, but easily dodged. Learn the routine (she has one of the easier ones) and figure out when to stop aiming at her so you can dodge stuff (if you actually aim, it doesnt help much without certain mods). Yes this may technically be a "GIT GUD" statement, but its the truth. She is a joke of a boss the moment you have the routine down.

This was changed a while ago at RAthuum update. The only frame you can face tank those rockets in is a meta build arcane ice tank chroma, and even then its hard.
Tips: Slova for rollers
Limbo Catacylsm during rocket barrage. Pretty much the only way to survive it
Ranged Ignus for buttons
High dps gun for Kayla
CP squad

I cant agree with this at all.. I liked AW before SotR.. I now cannot play it at all.. And its no better in open space.. I get disoriented, and sick as ♥♥♥♥.. There was nothing wrong with AW itself before. The only issues, were 2 mission types, 2 or 3 tiles, and little to no rewards for doing them..

The charge for slots was just an added kick to the jibblets, as i had spent 2 weeks prior to sotr, farming every available weapon.. Had i known, i would have claimed all of them, and had them available.. No way im paying to use something, in a mode i can no longer stand to play..

The only time i take rockets was rezzing teammates.. Or when a roller ball staggers.. That said, it felt like she was throwing out far more than she used too.. It really felt like ALL i was doing was dodging, or killing roller balls.. I ended up aborting the mission in frusteration.. Like Atlas, i expect i wont be aquiring Saryn..

While i enjoy that her fight requires actual tactics, and movement, i HATE when they just act like bullet sponges.. While some bosses just feel cheap, hers used to be fun.. But with her dmg output, and high armor/hp + shields, i feel like im only ever going to get Saryn Prime.. Its annoying enough to have to go throug that boring arena 10 times per run, but i dont have weapons that can take chunks of life that that one guy claims.. 8 shots?? Must be nice..

The shield just makes it worse.. I tried using an Opticor, with its high puncture dmg, just to see how much dmg i could do to her, and it was really bad.. I was lucky to get a single shot on her before she jumped again.. She really did seem to move more than usual..

Anyway, thanx for the replies.. It didnt help that i had a guy who constantly went down, and required reserrection, and a piss poor weapon choice to boot..
