Stupid question - How does Ash's Bladestorm work?

So i do actually press 4 and then he just teleports to one target then kill thems then goes back to NOT doing blade storm.Is this how it is supposed to work or?

his 3 ability is teleport, and with the Fatal Teleport mod it will work like a single bladestorm. but, the only reason why he would use it once would be there is only one enemy in the area

When you press 4 on one target Bladestorm marks other enemies around the main target. -/+ range mods change the area so you have to make sure there are at least 7 enemies in one pack or you spend 100 energy on one target.

1) Aim at an enemy
2)Press 4
3) Ash will mark all enemies inside a radius of that enemy and attack all of them untill they are all dead/his number of attacks are used up.

This ability is affected by Steel Charge, Power Stregth, Power Range and certain melee mods.
