Stalker spawning frequently

I just faced Stalker for the 4th time already in a matter of 2 days. Does anyone else experience frequent Stalker spawns?

It's either I'm getting lucky on the spawn counter or his spawn rate has been increased. I mean, I play solo only, usually defense/excavation missions to level up my stuff and farm R5 fusion cores.

There;s this rumor (although said to be false) that Stalker will spawn more if you have low level items, in which I myself have proven wrong; I have a maxed out Carrier, Tipedo, Frost, and a level 24 Hek.

Also, Stalker is to avenge fallen bosses right? Is there a way in which I'll know what boss has already been avenged, whether the Stalker failed (I defeated him) or he was successful (managed to kill me)? I know he says it in his dialogue but I only managed to read Jakal, the rest, I haven't read it since I was busy killing stuff.

EDIT: Some says that he also hard to kill. I'm not bragging but I can kill him easily. Was he also nerfed?

EDIT_2: P.S. He's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ -_- out of all my tries killing him he only dropped Dread for me. I want his melee ffs!!! D:

Yes, after the specter, death squads (Syndicate, Stalker, G3, Zanuka Hunter) rate of appearance seems to be highly increased.

The rumor is proven false now with the 5% calculation on the wikia. Also the stalker now appears when your warframe has at least level 10.

In my experience for that, I killed way too many bosses that his list of boss he tried to avenge and the boss I killed is too winded up. Sometimes he try to kill me to avenge Phorid, which last I fought maybe 3 months ago.

There's 2 version of stalkers.
The default one, imo, is deadlier since he's quite a persistent chaser and he has Dread, Despair, and Hate as his arsenal. This one, teleports to you should you move too far.
Shadow Stalker, on the other hand, is more durable to certain degree since you can't keep dealing damage with same elements. His arsenal is War with Exalted Blade power and "Disco Ball" of death. This one, teleports you to him when you go too far.

Lots of G3, syndicates death squads and shadow stalker recently for me... (Dread is quite good though ^^ )

Really? i havent seen stalker in the longest time but at least i have his 500+ emails for murdering tyl regor, salad v, and pathetic kael in rathuum.

Thanks for the replies, I thought I was the only one experiencing high stalker spawns. Glad to know some people do spawn him frequently as well, good luck farming the rest of his arsenal!

I am enjoying Dread, really, and that's a very good thing considering I am never into bows. I really want his melee weapon though since I main melee mostly all of the time.

I am very aware of the second dream quest even though I haven't played it yet. I kinda, uh, spoiled myself about its story while watching YouTube videos. The soundtrack, "This Is What You Are" was it? Was the one that hooked me up with spoiling the story line for myself. I just love the music and it made me want to know the story. Not much of a downside for me, I am now actually excited to experience it myself :)

P.S. After Stalker tried to "avenge" fallen bosses, do I need to re-kill them in order for him to "mark" me up again??

Yes, just kill them again. Phorid is the easiest one to kill for you to get the mark.

Wait, so the mark has a drop chance as well? I mean, you'll have a chance to get marked but not 100% of the time??

Uhm, I never said anything about drop chance. You'll get mark 100% of the time if you land the killing blow. That's what I usually do.

Another thing to note is that someone may be using stalker beacon to force a summon. Beacons for g3, zanuka, and stalker are sold by baro

Fairly sure they increased spawn rates. Just 2 days ago I had him 4 times in the same session (I was farming fragments).

Actually that would be a behemoth jugg for Jordas Golem (good place to farm it also, but then you have the golem to kill... )
But, as far as I remember I always get the roar at the beginning of lephi... is it just me ?
