In other words, if you want to know how much dmg bonus a bane mod is giving you vs the right faction put all your mods on, then multiply the total dmg (physical and elemental) by 0.3.
1. as other already said this mods amplify your DMG after ALL other mods are calculated - it's only against 1 faction but there're defnetly not the "worst" mods in the game. you just have to switch you mod build or weapon
2. for some weapons; espacialy crit weapons - this mods are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cuz you have to get the highest possbile value from a MOD(slot) and crit weapons are fast "full" and there's no space for the bane mods or other mods are "better"
3. IF DMG 3.0 is released and all the baseDMG mods will removed - and the Multishot mods get a little nerf/manus-effect you'll have 1 or 2 empty slots in your weapon and than this mods will be super powerfull....
(still waiting for new corrupted mods Bane of orokin [+40%DMG to orokin / -40%DMG to nonorokin / r3/3]).....
but then many things have to be rebalanced.. some mods - enemeyscaling; maybe the basestats..
just imagine a neew player and his weapons get stronger when leveling up.. just try any weapon with r7 serration or even lower and go to earth..... i still remember when i got serration.. finally i did DMG T.T
