How to Obtain Scorched Beacon?

I know all of Chroma's parts come from the junctions, but I really would liek to complete "The New Strange", I started before SotR and now I have to craft a scorched beacon.
What exactly is a scorched beacon and who or where does it drop?

I checked the wiki, it doesn't mention anything about a Scorched Beacon

Consider changing your title because you literally answered your own question in the post.

I'm not sure but i think the Beacons are what replaced the Chroma parts in the quest. Check your foundry if you have it.

I have 2 of Chroma's parts from the junctions, i assume i just complete the junction that has Chroma's last part then buy his BP from the market?
but i would like a completed quest, it just bugs my OCD

No... you have to ask them yourself there. Because it obviously wasnt intended that players update to SotR mid quest.

I followed the quest, scanned 3 arid lancer for simaris, he acknowledged, gave BP for beacon, i crafted in foundry. that all tahts to it

i needed to craft a part too but i somehow fixed it and went along with the quest so there is some way to fix it without talking to support
