Best Primary weapon to use with Mag?

I will be getting a Mag Prime soon, and I'm looking for a weapon to complement her and her abilities. When I say complement, I don't mean themed, but something that will assist her abilities and her playstyle. Mag is my most used frame, as she was my starter, but soon after I got Loki Prime and I basically shoved her in the back of my arsenal only to reappear after the rework came out. In short, I have a collection of sniper rifles and shotguns, along with a bow and a Soma Prime. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me.

Pull and blast is a decently effective Mag strategy if you're running a mage build. Shotguns or grenade launchers/rocket launchers work well.

Using a Magnetize build ( 75 percent duration, high power and a bit of range) (her current most powerfull ability), Electric Gas Lanka so far has been my absolute favorite weapon with her. absolutly slaughers enemies.

Well Bubbles what is your playstyle when it comes to mag? Cant really recommend a complement weapon if your aiming for one suited for your playstyle.

If you want to be on the move and rip off armor with her polarize go with weapons equipped for viral and slash damage since they are good versus non-armored targets.

Her magnetize can make any bullet home in on targets while also stopping on in their tracks for this most people use a powerful singleshot sniper/rifle or an inaccurate projectile weapon.

Another way is to use aoe weapons in combo with pull magnetize and crush to group and slaughter armies.

These are just suggestions i recommend checking out tactical potatoe he has a pretty fun mag combo on youtube.

hmm... almost any weapon wich uses projectiles with travel time does well:
-Lanka
-Miter
-Boltor
-Drakoon with kela augment (currently my favorite)
-Supra?
-(Telos) AkBolot << not a primary but very good
-Spira (prime) works good too but sadly it's a crit weapon and the magnetize only absorbs the "normal" DMG
just add pungh through or/and bounce(darkoon) mods

Mag doesn't have much in terms of synergies, so you can use literally any weapon you want. Get a good gun and get killing, that's about it.

Why nononononNOOOO? Weapons with slow projectiles sure look pretty in the Magnetize, but they don't deal much more damage than weapons without slow projectiles. They just look better.

its about the mecanic from the magnetize... i think a field/area with ~50k dps is extremly powerfull when used/placed correctly.

Magnetize will deal high damage if it consumes high damage, that's pretty much it. Weapons like Supra,etc. just make it very pretty to look at, but don't actually surpass the damage it would do it shot with, for example, Tigris. Therefor it's not that important what weapon Mag is using, she just has to use something but Status/Crit weapons and she'll be golden.

P.S. Of course, if we're talking about looks - Supra/Miter/Drakgoon are objectively the best variants because they'll turn the bubble into either a lightshow, blade dance or just aswarm of angry bees. Or everything at once.
