As for synoid simulor please explain how it doesnt work becuase i achieve many kills with a splitchamber in it.
So for me its worth it with the mods i have at this point in game "no idea about end game :P
+1 will also like to know this
since multishot will increase pure elemental weapons just as pure base damage weapons
= 90% more elemental damage "how is that bad ?
ps. this have affect no matter if it fires a extra shot or not
Edit because people are being wrong above me: The extra listed damage on weapons in your arsenal shown by multishot is wrong. It cacluates multishot as if it were a 90% serration, which it doesn't work that way. You only get that extra damage if the weapon fires that extra shot, and that shot hits something.
Additional Edit because whatever: I also used to think split chamber was useful on simulor, then I did some tests with two identical builds save one had Split Chamber, and one had an empty mod slot instead of split chamber. They both yeilded the same damage.
It WOULD, if the Simulor's main means of dealing damage weren't the explosions from the fusing orbs. That it creates a CC-effecting mini-Vortex on the 4th consecutive fused orb is more of a nice side effect - the real damage is from the orbs fusing.
If it did double damage per fusion/explosion with Split Chamber that'd be one thing, but so far as I've been able to tell this is not the case.
I mean, sure, you can still use Split Chamber on a Simulor and coat an area with mini-Vortices much faster, which is great Crowd Control, but it's not going to do as much damage as if you'd replaced Split Chamber with another damage mod.
Fortunately, DPS is not everything, and Warframe is very forgiving indeed most of the time. Basically just do what you want, really.
Was just clarifying and elucidating.
As far as whether or not Tonkor benefits noticably from Multishot, that's been answered: Yes. Yes it does.
GO NUTS!
