Can you gift tennogen skins?

^Title. My friend wants to give me a skin as gift, but he doesn't know if he can gift/trade the skin to me.

You can't gift Tennogen skins, however you can launch Warframe on your Steam account, but your friend has to log on Warframe with his account, and then you'll buy him the thing he wants with your Steam balance.

I don't know wether this really works, just my idea that you can try out.
