Try easter, fire or even tenno color pack. Maybe your gold color is more orange then yellow...depends on your monitor settings and graphics. Pick which work best for you.

Its pretty much up to you, espiecially with the various color correction/bloom/lighting options. Also people might prefer different kinds of gold.

Saturated - one of the yellows, not the highest up yellow but the one that's one or two slots down from it.

And only on small areas - from a distance it looks like gold. But on large areas its obvious that its just a funky yellow.

I usually use Ash Prime to get the Gold on my weapons and syandanas:

a)Color your Ash Prime in any color you want your item to be but leave the gold as it is.
b)Go on your item and go on the option "copy Warframe colors".
c)Gold added to your item

There are also a lot of "almost" free event pallets (1 credit each). Just stay tuned, together they make a good variety of colors.
On items with a shiny surface a yellow color can turn it into gold, for example the Redeemer look can be turned in solid gold due the big metal shiny blade.

I use a yellow from the top row of the Easter pallet. The specific shade depends on the texture or how pollished you want it to look.

I use Orokin, has the most goldy colors in my opinion
