How to switch syndicate?

So I finished levelling up to the highest rank of New Loka... How do I start levelling up with a new syndicate? I tried switching my Sigils to another one, but I'm still getting New Loka points and Syndicate Alerts.

They changed the sigils to just be cosmetic, now you just pledge to whatever syndicate you want, and you earn however much the max rank sigil was. I believe it was 15%, might've been more.

Sigils no longer provide standing, instead you use the Syndicate terminal near Navigation and Pledge to whichever group you want to now represent.

and i would recommend getting everything from your current syndicate cause even though youre rank 5 they WILL derank which i think is dumb

I tried the Syndicate Terminal and can't pledge to new one because it says I don't have enough standing to. So how am I supposed to get their standing to be able to pledge to them?

Never mind... I realised the main menu of the terminal has a "Change Pledge" button to go to the list where you pledge. At first I was choosing the syndicate to find the option. Anyway, thanks!

Only if you rank up opposing factions. You can rank up easy 3 at same time...4 if you juggle a bit with it... Maybe learn how it works first :)

You need to rank up specific pairs of syndicates for 4 to be possible, one pair always being SM and RV, but it is possible and surprisingly easy

Also, if you want to unpledge, you just click on the one you're already pledged to

I didn't find an way to unpledge the old syndicate and am still getting the Syndicate Alerts for the old one, not the new one.

I'm still getting the old Syndicate's daily alerts. Why? Do I have to rank up to a positive level with the new one to start getting their alerts or is it something else behind this?

You will have access to all syndicate missions you are currently the proper rank for. As mentioned above, you can effortless be max rank in 3 at once, and trivially be max rank in 4 at once. All positive standing ranks have missions.

But how do I get my newly pledged syndicate to give the alerts? I'm only getting the old syndicate's alerts daily.

I believe those are on a daily(?) timer?.. so they should change when the daily reset happens. Although by your posts timer they should have reset for you already...

Wait just found some info that mentions you have to be rank 1 with a syndicate to get daily missions for that syndicate to appear. So you might have to pledge, then run missions to gain daily affinity and then hand in gifts to get out of any negative ranks you might have with them, or if your rank 0 then simply rank up to rank 1.
