Argon Crystal Farming

So, I noticed U14.5 came out, and with it came the Kronen, which is a melee weapon I really want. I have the recipe and everything to make it EXCEPT 2 Argon Crystals. I read on my resource Farming Guide that you farm it from the Void, but I'm not sure what mission to do, and most sources say you NEED master theif, and half a year ago, I got 4 in 1 run. What mission would be the best to do if I did NOT have master thief?

you don't need that mod to farm argon don't worry lol, Survival/defense key are perfect to farm it, for example got 3 argon in 8 min of survival I. anyway the results depends always on your Luck :d

You can also farm Phorid whenever a boss Invasion node pops up. There was one today and I got the Argon needed after a few runs. It's overall easier to do than Survival if you rush, since Phorid runs literally don't last for 5 minutes (with a good loadout).

^ Phorid has a very high drop chance on Argons. Not going to say its 100% but i got 3 argons in 3 runs.

Dunno if it's been fixed yet, but invasion missions in general were using the Void resource drop table a few weeks ago. Phorid is the best, but any invasion is good for getting them, I at least had better luck getting argon from there rather than the void.

I got an Argon Cystal in a 10-15 Infestation Extermination mission last night.
Along with another 5 Control Modules...wtf is with them these days?

I get these in any infestation invasion mission they only last about a day or two and then they disappear don't bother trying to farm them just do infestation invasions when they show up, there actually harder to get in the void.

You don't need Master Thief they drop more often from the infestation invasions and infestation invasions take less time to do and are easier if you have a good fast melee weapon.

Let's be honest. The easiest way to get argon crystals is in the Larunda Relay on Mercury. Go to Cephalon Simaris's quarters, there you'll find the mastery tests. The rank 4 test that is basically a 1 minute survival against endless infested. The trick here is that the test counts as the VOID, even though the enemies spawning probably won't be above level 14. I brought in an Ether Reaper and did the test 10 times, and I got 3 argon crystals and 5 control modules.

I am going to try this, it's is good if it works.

Edit: It does work but it is largely based on luck you would have a better chance getting argon crystals while doing void missions than doing this.
