I use this tactic.

More effective with Adhesive Blast equipped, as it sticks to the enemies.

How to use Penta?
Switch to a Tonkor. :)

No, to be honest - I never really got into this Weapon. Andd while it's AOE dmg is quite reasonable, for me it's simply too complicated to use in other situations than stationary defense like Akkad - and even then I prefer the Tonkor over it. It makes not much sense for me to use two different weapons with comparable dmg and aoe range. And as long as you can't use the Penta reasonable for fast paced gameplay, it has no real place in the 'meta' for me.

Well - that's not really an answer to your question - but I had to point to a alternative if you don't find a way to utilize your Penta. ;)
