Anyone else sick of the relic drop rates?

You know, I had a nice enjoyable system going. I'd strap on a newer frame, some noobie gear, then go to Kiliken on Venus to farm 3 extractors for a Lith relic, then hop out. Rinse and repeat. If there was a good fissure mission I'd break them open instead, and if I didn't I'd go farm some more. I level my gear, I make incremental progress towards much better gear, everybody's happy.

With every single update since Silver Grove (or at least most of them), the drop rate has been strangled a little bit more each time. A guaranteed 3rd wave relic turned into a 3rd or 4th wave relic. Okay, not a big deal. Then it turned into a 3rd, 4th, or 6th or 7th wave relic. That was really pushing it. Then it turned into a 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, or simply "go ♥♥♥♥ yourself". Lately, it seems to be mostly "go ♥♥♥♥ yourself", with hours of grinding and only two or three relics to show for it.

You know, they could make them a lot MORE rare if you could dictate what you get out of them. Do you have any idea how many radiant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Lith A1 relics I've broken open trying to get Akstiletto Prime's blueprint? Not that I have any particular fascination with it, but it's the last drop I need from it before I can put it in the fodder pile for void trace runs.

Get a clue, DE. People with lives have money to spend on your game (like I did). Not people who can sit in front of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game all day for meager rewards, if any. Find some better way to gate things besides grinding for a change.

You're only doing three extractors and leaving? Anyway, I'd suggest farming relics from other survival, interception and defense missions can result in relics from any of the rotations. Seriously, those mission types are great for relic farming.

Spy missions, they only take about 10 minutes on any planet and if you successfully get all three data packs you will get a relic. If you dont get all three you might still get one, but with all three its pretty much a guarantee.

Want to level a new or newly forma'd frame while farming Lith relics? With a booster and a decent non-syndicate silent weapon you can get that warframe to rank 30 in three mission runs on mercury.

The reason for not using syndicate weapons is that even though the radial blast is now silent and will not alert enemies, it will still break the affinity bonus for stealth kills.

Actually, my last comment about grinding out relics was specifically about survival. Stickney on Phobos. Two hours today and one relic. Which has become the norm.

As for excavation missions, three extractors used to be all that was required. Guaranteed, every time. Now you might go 8 extractors without any relics, and that's what I have a problem with. You do that three missions in a row, four, five, you start thinking about playing something else.

What I don't know is if higher level missions have better drop rates. That would be totally fair, and I would logistically have no cause to complain. I just beat Tyl Regor so I suppose I could go check on Jupiter or somesuch. I'm willing to bet though that the nerfs were across the board.

Don't get me wrong. Every once in awhile I'll still get a relic on Rotation B of whatever I'm doing. But when it stacks up to a couple of hours of pretty much nothing, I feel like I'm just wasting my time.
