so if I can't sign up for it they can't send me the email with the code .... right?
So as long as you use only one computer you only need the code once. No phone required, just alt-tab your email program.
DE is also restricting trades to 2fa accounts so it becomes almost mandatory unless you like farming for everything.
Nice ... so the people who can least afford an expensive monthly fee to a phone will be forced into paying premium priced from DE and not allowed to trade with other players... superb....
I seriously don't get what you're going on about in this post and the one above^.
All the 2FA does is send you an email when you first log in from a unique IP, and you can obviously read that email on your own computer, no phone or phone numbers required
What is the point of making people "sign up" for it?
They already have our email and know our IP
It doesn't require phone, thank Odin for that. I already have Blizzard and Steam mobile Authenticators in my phone. It sends code in your email, give the code and you're done.
OK so now when I want to trade I need to do an email verify for each trade? Seriously?
Oh well my steam inventory is stuffed due to this nonsense as well..
I think they wrote that before the Mainline update got delayed, or something. Anyway, the 2FA thing and Ephemera don't come until the update comes.
