Seimeni on Ceres is quick and has almost no requirements while being good for Alloy and Orokin Cells.
Fissure capture/exterminate/sabotage missions can also be good for credits as they are quick missions and will frequently have enemies drop Harrow Chassis and other blueprints that you can sell for credits.
Managing his energy hunger with high buffs, making sure timer is right, sure, just recast it whenever you have energy but that turns out into 3 tap simulator and 3 being recastable does not change that if you get thrown in the hole by a random knockdown you lose it all and on high levels it is very unlikely that you will get a chance to rebuild your buff before you get obliterated.
Not saying he is bad, just saying that I dislike things I have to mind while playing him.
After 7 forma on regular Chroma and couple of them on Chroma Prime I should know my how that his 3 can be recasted any time but 2 cannot...
Just changing so you keep the buff values that you built up and they are just flat out active when recasted would make him far more enjoyable to me, having that risk of losing it all if you fall somewhere, or you just end up in a fight or whatever and you just forget to click it again just feels meh, he has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sentient as his pelt and sentient should not forget his adaptation.
thing I mind is - how NOT to get obliterated on some long endless survival when random knockdown throws you out of bounds.
Your shield will get melted 0.2s after getting returned to play area so you lose option to regain that armor buff. So you have to have shield restore on you whenever that happens in order to survive.
Not to mention that any random magnetic proc forces you to use energy pads, so Chroma gameplay is all about having those shield pads and energy pads ready, keeping an eye on timer so you do not miss the window, not spamming too much as he is energy hungry so you have to keep an eye on energy.....
Meanwhile, tanks like Rhino and Nezha just click 2 and 3 respectively and they are tanks, they click 3 and 2 respectively and they have an instant damage buff whenever they like. Same goes for Mesa too, instant recastable value. Maybe that is a part why we are not seeing that many Chroma's outside Tridolons and Profit Taker.... just sayin' , sheer hassle and stress of loosing a buff against instant clicks is just meh, not to mention the requirement of having emo secondary weapon for Chroma to build up when you have to so you cannot have the actual secondary weapon with you.
He is a pretty fun concept, but imho quite far from his final form.
example, I intensively dislike index, imo DE did not nail arena type missions and I really did not enjoy paying any of them.
As soon as they introduced Profit Taker, i only did Index 3 times for Nightwave challenge. And considering how much I am over lvl 30 in the first episode that would be the last time I play index as I am pretty safe to ignore that challenge and not bother with it.
So yeah, there are reasons not to bother with index, sure getting better reduces risk of loosing but you can always have that special Rhino who hoards for too long. Not to mention the fun aspect of it, Mesa aimbotting everything, EV spamming 2, Rhino jumping and looking for coins and Banshee or Nova clicking 2 or 4 respectively does not seem like a fun experience to me, especially with dynamics of arena fight that's just non-existing. Not to mention that if you get bigger map you may as well reset as you will be wasting too much time compared to the small map.
