Harrow VS Eximus
Hildryn's Pillage still replenishes shields and damages eximus' armor/shields because it's not a "CC ability"
Harrow's Condemn neither replenishes shields nor does it block eximus' because it's a "CC ability"
What the actual ♥♥♥♥... this renders Harrow completely useless in Eximus Stronghold as it can never keep his shields up and at this point it highly encourages injecting him with Pillage which I dislike because it doesn't open them up for headshots, is slower and isn't persistent on the ground, rendering it useless when combo-ing it with Penance or Thurible

Can't you separate the replenishing from the CC? Making eximus still replenish shields and having a countdown based on duration for the next Condemn, but not get stunned?

And before anyone says anything about the fact that you can hit them and CC after stripping their Eximus health pool, I'll have you know that it can only be done via damaging it and by the time it's all stripped down the enemy dies pretty much in one hit.
The ratio between eximus health and normal health is about 10 to 1, so there's no way to Condamn them in that time frame before they die. And even if you do you're most likely just hitting one or two enemies at a time, rendering it still completely useless in Eximus Stronghold.

i feel your pain... i main khora and them freagin eximus just walking in my cage and attacking the objective are annoying me.
As if it wasnt enuff, it takes 10 arrows dealing 150k-300k each before their overshield drops and they finally die..... That is with my best weapon, so as soon as i get 6-8 of em at same time, its game over for me.

I guess that offsets Pillage's uselessness in all infested missions, no?

In all seriousness though, I use both through Helminth for shield gating purposes, and while I'd sure think it's nice to be able to use condemn on eximus for at least their shields, I'll be fine even if it wasn't.

Hildryn's Pillage? You mean that ability that does nothing against Infested, making a frame completely useless against an ENTIRE faction a few enemies excluded, an entire open world included, unless you waste a slot for an augment, an ability active 24/7 and forced to be near enemies at all times? And you complain about a single random sortie modifier who nobody cares about?

An underrated augment, if you ask me. Everything gets set on fire, everything that isn't an eximus flails around in a panic, and you get shields back no matter the faction. When you're overshielded, you're immune to toxin...

running the ability 24/7 is no big deal, but you don't need to keep it active, only when enemies are around and you need your overshields again. You can do something like casting the 2, then the 3 to set things on fire, then turn off the 3 when the 2 is over so you minimize how many shields the 3 actually burns up

Huh, never knew that augment also restored shields no matter the faction. Guess you learn something new everyday, eh?

So, I feel your pain - I have my own problems with the Eximus changes.

Buut - they're changing them again with the next update. So sorta hold off for a bit and see how that affects things.

Yeah, folk pointed out with Harrow at release that such situations would make his moveset pretty worthless, sorry you're experiencing it now.

Crowd Control
all abilities that deal with enemies non-damagingly, like pulling them towards you, ragdolling them, stunning them etc... for the purpouse of survivability

Anyway guys this wasn't meant to say Pillage is OP, nor was it specifically about Eximus Stronghold (which was only an extremization where Harrow literally can't do anything, the main problem is the rest of the game where eximus are)
It was simply about the fact that replenishing shields on Eximus shouldn't be such a controversial thing since Hildryn can do it and since Harrow relies so much on shields/overshields being able to draw them from eximus would be a nice thing to tweak, while still being unable to stun them.

...or you can just use the dozens of enemies surrounding the eximus instead? It's not like you have to worry since Harrow becomes invincible on command. And in case you're using the Laetum....well, even the eximus were already in danger without Harrow's fire rate bonus.

Content scales indefinitely, especially now with SP, so more shields means nothing.
What matters is being able to get enough shields constantly where you can keep being shield gated and eximus pose a double threat in this regard because they neither make you shield gate, nor do they stop from breaking your shields, and shields go down pretty much in one or two hits, not even mentioning infested's toxins which almost always one hit you.
Oh and Harrow doesn't "become invincible on command".
Unless you never use Covenant and always keep it in case you're about to get taken down (which, at this point why even play Harrow and what does Harrow even give you more than a Wisp I say) you can't use it because it can't be refreshed.
And let's say you keep it as a last resort, then you either play low durability which means you have like 1-5 seconds of invincibility (might as well shield gate) or you're gonna have to wait the same time as you were invincible, meaning on top of a 100 energy cost you'll also have a countdown.
And no the breakaway here is not Laetum, but the augment Lasting Covenant, which makes Covenant permanent as long as you headshot, meaning you sacrifice what little chance you had at casting Covenant at the right time to save your ass (actually useless in my opinion) for the benefit of never having to recast Covenant again and always red critting enemies, which means though that you have to headshot, making Condemn far more superior than Pillage.

Anyway I know you don't play Harrow and by the comments you left you seem pretty angsty against any positive change but the simple matter of fact I'm complaining about is that I can replenish shields with Harrow, just, not with Harrow, because his ability is CC.

There are animations and brightly coloured areas of effect for the new eximus abilities
when they use them (slightly different or each one). If you see it, don't stand in that zone. They're really obvious to so....... Just step to the left

Going to sound like an ass but you would know this if you....I don't know...read the mod?

Blazing Pillage is a Warframe Augment Mod for Hildryn that makes enemies affected by Haven receive Heat damage with a guaranteed proc and restore Shields to Hildryn when hit by Pillage.

As it turns out, frames are situational. Who knew. Maybe that's why there's so many of them, and why the game is about collecting them.
