14 days farming purple velocipod

It's been 14 days of me looking for these purple dragon flies in deimos, and I have yet to find a single one. It must be over 100 hours spent searching, but still no evidence that they even exist anymore.

maybe you should try looking for all the ceiling sac things

use your archwing, and fly over the edge of Deimos, the animal often there. most of them.
but tbh i found them randomly on a mission.

also if you have issues with purple what about white? unless youre trying to build the upgrade thing

there is often a cluster of them on the right. That is, exit the city into the open world, and if you go generally right, there is a giant climb up where the bounties will frequently send you to do a hive or kill near the pot type mission. That big cliff, if you travel along its base in an arc, has some a reasonable amount of time.
All of them in general seem to be near water and high cliffs both. So follow a river, maybe.

Deimos has a Vome and Fass cycle, don't those influence the spawn rates of certain critters? There's a warframe data site that says hte current state of all the zones on cycles.

It is was actual 14 days worth of time in game you would have found quite a few
