if I'm not mistaken it's either a gunner or pilot upgrade

I'm pretty sure our missiles/hull gun do, I've seen with looks like some sort of targetting effect on targets I've been pointing at as the pilot (though I've never loaded ammunition into it, let alone fire it).

I can highly recommend the "Photor" guns, they're a beam weapon, but you have to craft them. The "Pulsar" are great until then.

Yeah... I ended up equipping these on mine. Seems like everyone that joins my ship (including me) has a hard time hitting with any other weapon that has travel time. Nothing wrong with that (not saying "get rid of travel time") just an observation.

I find it a lot harder to accurately lead targets in space since objects like ships and asteroids can be of wildly varying sizes, and there's also less objects around to help judge the distance to the target.

Then there's the fact you may have lead them correctly, but they simply turned and dodged it.

Thankfully there is a upgrade under the gunnery? tree I believe that will give you a reticle to lead the target.

Yeah, but you still suffer the same issues mentioned above.

Actually I think the last level gives whats basically an auto-lead... However will still suffer misses unless your target flies in a straight line.

Yeah, first level (I think), then the 2nd paragraph comes into effect and I'd rather just point and shoot y'know.

every1 can get gunnery1, thats not the issue, but hey if ony grineer ships have homing, il just use their ship then.
