How do you mean mate, there some things i still don't know about this game aha.
On the market you can buy sets of colors for both kavats and kubrows as well as skin/fur texture that have different coloration as well. Just filter by companion or type in search “Kavat”. Also Baro Ki Teer (void trader) and Master Tesonai in Cetus sometimes can sell unique skins for both animals that make them look like ferral versions.
Only one natural Kubrow texture is considered to be extremely rare, called Lotus Kubrow. It has warframe/lotus logo/symbol on kubrows face. Other than that you better off with colors, textures and skins from the market. You can color your companions in any color and can make them look extremely edgy with armor.
Probably cheaper to buy them off of other players.
The Vasca imprints are not tradeable and you can only buy from market.
Well, not entirelly correct.
I could make my vaska kavat using the starter vaska kit, then I could make 3 dna imprints of it. Or I could infect my old smeeta/adarza kavat in plains of eidolon and make her dna imprints. And in both cases I could trade/sell these imprints to other players. You can trade animal (kavat/kubrow) imprints.
Lotus isnt really rare, its just the favorite, and kind of on par with Merle (spotted).
For Vasca colors: The colors of the origin Kavat matter. They affect the resulting Vasca Kavat, so yes, Vasca Kavats with different natural colors do exist.
Out of 20 kubrows that I have bred only one had lotus pattern. And I remember alfa lotus imprints being sold for 500-1000 platinum when kubrows were popular. Lotus one, not some random spotted pattern.
Its similar to Kavats where certain tails are worth a bit more, yet that doesnt necessarily make them "extremely rare".
And people still try charging a thousand for omega sized Kubrows. Scams happen. (size doesnt transfer through imprint)
If you are looking for something specific i can only advice to join the breeders discord.
Lotus patterns are usually more in the range of 50p. Higher prices are for colors, not patterns. Though just like for kavats colors and tail/head, combinations matter.
10% drop chance for ephemera is considered to be rare, same as old ephemeras with 5%.
