Thermia Fractures and the people

Man i have never been this infuriated in my life playing a videogame, i couldn't get all the 100 things, i only got 87, and it was because of one single factor, people trying to do thermia fractures without knowing a simple thing, you can put up to 4 canisters in the same fracture, which is faster than one per fracture, doing 4 at the same time its 175 seconds of wait, while 4 separatedly is 400 seconds, you can literally get 8 canisters in less time than 4 with the other method, the problematic part is that i couldn't do the event alone becuase it takes too much time for me to prepare the whole thing, so i hop online to play with randoms trying to do the same mission, but for my surprise 90% of the people i had to play with, weren't aware you can put 4 at the same time, and even when i told em that you can, they still put the thing on the fracture without having other 3. today i wanted to end the event but i encountered several people like this, that just ignore you telling them "if we put 4 it takes way less time to get the thermia and points", and i seriously couldn't stand it, so 30 mins left for the event to end i had to give up because of this.

PD: i didn't have time to play the event lately so that is why i didn't do it before, and the friend i was doing it with didn't know the 4 canister at the same time either, so i couldn't have ended the event like 1 weeks ago smh, he didn't belived me either that you could do 4.

The event will run again in 2 weeks. Believe you keep your point total. No sense getting bent out of shape over it.

I've been out of the loop for months, this was the first time i was trying to do this event, i really wanted that opticor vandal. After searching in the forums i saw aparently the first edition of this event only let you do one at a time so that might be why people don't know you can do 4 now

It may also be because people suck/think other people will suck too and don't want to risk losing the canister progress.

More canisters = more things coming to kill the canisters. Not everyone can keep it alive with 4, in which case less canisters are faster than destroyed canisters.

Event will be back in a few weeks and you keep your progress. Try to get the group to agree on how many to run before they start and if they ignore you activate a canister yourself when someone starts it so that at least you are running 2.

Also keep in mind that after the first fissure the 2-4 canisters merge, so on the remaining fissures it looks like only one canister is being used but in reality all the ones the group started with are there.

My only problem i've had with 4 is that something keeps insta-gibbing the fracture (I believe its the random explosion purple bubble). There's no enemies in or around my frost bubble yet the fracture just dies. Stopped doing 4's and only did 2's since 3 is pointless. At least with 2 its only 250 for a thermia vs 400 for 1's and 175 for a 4.

With 4 canisters the fracture keeps constantly emitting a nullifier wave. It's much less frequent with 2 canisters for example

I've already done the event and didn't know multiple canisters on one fracture was a thing.

bro, just cus i play late at night i did the majority of em solo, not to mention that the vandal variant is meh I was very disappointed, the gun is trash, not enough power without frame buffs, no cc, no practicality comparing to top tier weapons

It's not really trash, it's just a rapid-fire Opticor. The Vandal deals lower damage per shot but charges a lot faster in return. In the end you'll achieve about the same DPS with either of them.

i dunno i just dont feel comfortable with it, its fun for low lvl content when u can take down the beefiest boss with 2 shots but not my thing i guess, and no i looked up proper builds for it and mods are not a problem

You can do it Solo. I solo it with my Loki Irradiating Disarm range build.

I you can stack it up to 4 canister, but for me it doesn't worth because I need to put much attention to my surrounding.

Each fracture require 3 min to seal it and every 4 fracture will fill your canister with bonus 7 points. Completed it 10 times will reward me with 70 points, roughly 2 plus hours or more.

It's not hard, just do it slowly with your pace, if you're having trouble with group, do it alone then.

Edit: I don't attack any enemy at all, I just go Invi and Spam 4, and let them fight each others. And I will try to stay away from Scyto Raknoid, because that thing can detect Invi.

Man, be glad you can even put more than 1 canister into it. I did it when it first came out and that was like 6 hours straight of boring, sleep-inducing grind to finish.
Since you didn't finish, just wait a couple weeks and finish then. I wish I hadn't rushed to finish; I had no idea the stupid event was going to come back so often.
