Obviously the rule is pretty undercovered and not many people know about it but it still bothers me that someone I recruited randomly can just send a ticket and get permission to change the clan and everything its crazy stupid to think about how someone malicious can just send a ticket if you dont log in for 30 days and delete the decorations or the tiles or can kick everyone Its really really a dumb rule they got there and clear that they didnt think about it much
This should not even be a thing unless the warlord got banned
It is a bit odd you don't trust one single person to pass it to who can give it back later when you return. Ive seen that happen plenty in good clans where the officers at least are honorable and reliable. Ive seen the bad drama too, though ... you don't REALLY know someone til you give them the keys to your house or something <g>
You anwsered part 2 yourself already. No matter how nice someone is, if I dont know them in person I wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them. Might seem a bit harsh but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
In my clan the founding warlord has not contributed nearly as much as some of the other members and he logs in maybe once every 6 months. It would suck pretty hard if he suddenly decided to kick everyone but people trust him enough not to do it.
The reason I made my op to begin with was that I'd like to avoid kicking everyone without taking the aforementioned risk but that doesnt seem possible.
It's also not an immediate concern but something that I became aware off and that I'll have to keep in mind from now on.
Look, I can enjoy playing the game with someone but that doesnt mean I'd trust them with something I spend large amounts of time and resources on. I'd never trust a stranger on the internet to the extend I'd trust my actual friends in real life.
My original question got anwsered, more or less and I doubt anything here is really going to change my mind. I also dont really care to change how otheres feel regarding this matter since it's none of my concern how they handle/would handle this.
Still, thank you to everyone who contributed to the topic.
I have the same issue as you now. I started a ghost clan and I would like to keep that ghost clan. I made it because I really like decorating rooms. It is now rank 10 and I built EVERYTHING in it. All rooms have been built and decorated by myself. All researches have been completed as far as I'm concerned. I'm very sure of that since I'm the only member. I got curious and googled if the founding member can be kicked out. I stumbled upon the 30 days option.
At first I was eager to invite players as soon as I'm satisfied with the room layout and decorations. I planned to give other players the freedom to decorate their own rooms, that's why I want it to remain as a ghost clan to keep resources needed low. Their freedom also means I can come and go with long gaps in between (I didn't know about the rank transfer then). This is why the fact that the clan I built from the ground up can be taken away from me for not logging in in a month because I needed a break from this game (gets boring after a while) sounds unfair as sht.
