How do you guys farm Cetus Wisp?

Do you guys do bounties or just try your luck going around the lake?

I hear one popular tactic is using the Itzal archwing's black hole ability to grab them from a sizable distance while following some specific patrol route or other.. i never bothered though.

Well, I am getting some standing and rewards by doing bounties, and since it's just uncommon, I'm probably going to get 2 by each run.

Nooo... Pretty sure they did. What they just described is exactly what I do (except I stay in the archwing and got decent with reversing thrust when 2s out of energy).

It's gotten to the point where I practically race the course, spot out which loot markers are wisps (did a few times so I know the spots), and get 20 in what feels like 5 minutes.

Volt/zephyr/nova/itzal with loot radar mods with smeeta kavat at night. 2x resource booster is very useful.

Bounties are slow and not worth for wisp farming.

Wisps are alright for bounty rewards, but not something to specifically expect

Going for a walk around Gara's lake, then exiting and re-entering the Plains, is the least time-wasting method IMO. That Itzal method mentioned is literally the same thing, just fancier.

Every time I start a bounty in Plains firstly I quickly check for wisp around all appropriate bodies of water. And then I join the rest of the squad. I am using Itzal and its speed is fully maxed so I isually done before the end of the first stage.

Just check web for wisp map and rush through then the very first thing every time you join plains.

w/ boost you will get around 6 - 18 per run , find ingoogle " Cetus wisp run " , Equip Root radar / use Archwing / Smeeta Kavat it's 1-2 min per run

go to plains. Take a lap around the closest spawn points and grab if there. Leave and repeat. Or if you want to burn a little more effort, steal a flying peanut thingy from the grineer and use that to rapidly tour all the hotspots. Or waste archwing launchers or use zephyr or maybe titania with a couple of drive-bys to bust crates for power (have you noticed that crates nearly all have power in the plains?) should be obvious but in case its not, you want all the loot radar you can stack. titania needs you to build to get enough speed to make it worth it.
