Pherliac pods..

So i spent one whole day trying to get it.. i lost hope, because getting it is hopeless.
I mean its thing that u need to complete one stupid mission, but you cant complete it, because it wont drop even if it would be your 100th run.

I really like playing this game, but this is one of those things that needs to be improved. Getting resources when really needed, just like Pherliac pod blueprint.. I spent one whole day doing something for almost nothing, and its getting annoying every run.

Drop rates can be pretty nasty, you'll get slapped by it for Harrow neuroptics or mods like 60/60 rifle and shotty mods, condition overload so on and so forth. DE doesn't see that as a problem, some folk think that's challanging so I don't think they'll check their formula. To farm juggernaut bits and the bp Eris nodes are more likely to spawn juggernauts and I always had one spawn in derelict capture, it's fast to finish as well. All I can say is good luck.

I know the feeling. My best advice is to leave it be and instead play missions on infested tilesets. Why? ...because you can still make progress with other things and still has the opptunity and chance to get them to drop.

My advice, do derelict capture, run right to the target , capture then the roar will very likely happen.

Doing this on eris, Isos is also a guarenteed Jug spawn too.

Pherliac Pod BP is a 10% drop chance, which isn't terrible or good.
But spending one day doing it? Yeah, some stuff just takes a lot of patience. I kinda doubt you ran it 100 times.
Run Derelict Capture for Corrupted Mods from the Orokin Vault at the same time as getting Kavat scans, while killing Jugs. Then you're always getting something.

I really love this game, but this makes is no fun, instead its annoying and wrong. I just want to finish the quest and thats all, but that Pherliac blueprint is making it impossible.
Devs probably have never seen thousands of posts about those blueprints, but its all over the internet and i think we ALL should get bigger chance to get it each unsuccesful run. For example, if you wont get it, the drop chance is increased by 0.5 and max drop chance will be like 20-40% and everyone would be happy.

@Tigerlight i heard it has only 2.5% drop chance. if it would have 10%, i would get it on 20th run at least today, but after like 40-50 runs today i didnt get any on Extermination Eris.

While I know this game is deliberately grindy, the Phalic Pods blueprint is some of the most egregious. It's a low percentage drop off an annoying enemy which can fail to trigger and oftentimes fail to spawn if the game decides to stop sending enemies your way. I was lucky to get it on the fifth attempt or so since I started looking. A friend of mine ended up running I think 50 missions if not more across like two weeks (of not full-time play, obviously) before getting it.

And yes, stuff like Khora and Harrow are also fiendishly rare and annoying to earn, but at least you can buy those or trade them with other players. Not so with the pods.

I dont know so much about harrow, but i have pretty much 5 of every part cuz i get it by playing defense. I probabbly need a guy with Nekros. Maybe that will help me.

IIRC You cannot trade harrow parts nor khora. Me and my friend got stupid lucky with Mesa, 3 runs 3 parts. With Harrow took about 45 runs of defection, Ivara was upper 70s for her parts. I think my pods took a total of 10-15 kills. RNG can be cruel to some.

Agreed.

The enemy can also be a pain in the arse if you aren't aware of it or don'f bring good gear. First encounter I was one shot from what felt like no where.

Anyway i would have one more question. Do you get any mastery xp if you scan enemies? for example i just scanned Juggernaut and got like big glowing nubmer 2k..

I'm with you there about the drop rates, at least for quest items a different approach is needed. No MR xp for scanning but completing (scanning them enough times) you get lore and get to spawn them in Simaris' simulacrum

You can try farming it on eris fissures. there's a capture fissure that's quite fast to finish and find the juggernaught.

People do Vault Runs there so you will get some good mods for you and for market.
