Yes.
I've played WF since 2013 so I know how exactly how bad the power creep is. When Plains was released Catchmoon used to be OP and it was the most used gun. Now it's been completely overshadowed by newer additions.
About a month or 2 after is release, 40% of active players used one.
The issue is not the weapon so much (it kinda is), it's just a horde shooter and you either pick a single target weapon or a WMD. And they both have the same DPS to boot. Actually, some AoE have better DPS, but a long shot.
To be fair you have to unlock the secondary fire, it's limited "time" and the primary is kinda garbage. At least on the phenmor.
Bramma/zarr is always "on". So is my arca plasmor, and it one/2shot most SP enemies, except for heavy gunners and eximus.
Perhaps or perhaps it's the players that stream and youtube, perhaps it was the founders, perhaps it is the new players that actually stick around, perhaps it is the players who make well thought out detailed posts who's suggestions would add to the game in an efficient manner (requiring little work on DE's part) that minimizes the negative impact on the rest of the playerbase, or perhaps every player has their own individual opinion and none are greater than any others since in the end it is ONLY DE's opinion that matters.
While the opinion you expressed does make sound logical sense to me what also makes sound logical sense is players who have invested enough time or money in the game to accomplish everything they came for, and/or are at the point where they no longer find challenge or enjoyment from it, to simply move on without demanding that it be turned into a game other than what it is. Unfortunately players just feel to passionate and entitled to admit to themselves that perhaps it is time to hang up the game and find another.
Another thing to take note of is if you really want to make a point to DE about how the game should change then make it by stating what you thinks needs change and then stop playing the game altogether.
That impacts their bottom line on both sides as you are no longer purchasing and they are no longer able to count you as actively playing to investors.
They left, remember? They're not contributing anything anymore. So, by your own logic, they've made themselves irrelevant.
i would know since I've spent over 3k usd and 10k hours and im not a founder
if they weren't making money the game wouldn't exist so clearly people are sticking around and still spending money
just because some youtube videos claiming 'everyone' left the game doesn't make it true
You don't know that either, and I don't really care. People stop and start playing games all the time, and warframe is infamous for people taking long breaks and coming back.
Also, it's possible for whales to have absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opinions. Happens all the time in fact. They get this dumb idea in their head that because they spent a lot of money on a game, that somehow their ideas are good. What kinda dumbo thinks that makes sense?
No.
