why is it so hard to get VoidPlume crest?

yeah exactly you can get all void plums without any issues but this exact one is a pain in the ass for no reason

Really? Are you searching for all 10 every mission? Because I had more than enough to rank up and keep using to get reputation. I think you get at least 1 each mission, similar to Syndicate tokens... So, it seems you aren't searching all of them?

Get any kind of loot radar possible, some rooms are hidden behind vegetation and you will be expected to make use of jumping mechanics or your general awareness of the area to get into some of them

There is only one Voidplume Crest per mission, so yeah. Break the containers.

There is guaranteed at least one crest in every mission, I would run the exterminate missions and search for the plumes around the map until you get it then extract. rinse repeat. only 10 for rank up so shouldn't take too long.

I use Xaku with max range and loot radar on exterminate mission. Their ultimate ability destroy containers through walls and at great distance. You just have to run in the middle of each room and pop your ultimate : loots packs themselves and are gathered from fairly far, so everything that remains on your radar is a plume. not really fun, but efficient.

Only one per map. Which isn't helped by having most mission being either endless with a fail condition or with an auto extract timer so you can't really search the map once you are done.
Tier 3 bounties can award a single one, if you are lucky.

Somehow, despite adding a way to trade "token" with Deimos, they didn't see this situation coming.

Before a slight change, it wasn't always one per map, but now it is one per map. There are only eight total plumes to find, and the lost spirits will lead you to them. There are more than eight spirits in most levels so you should easily find all the plumes or at least find the crest each time if you take just a few extra moments.

It isn't perfect, but it isn't difficult. And soon enough you won't need the loot radar or the lost spirits to get them even if you aren't trying to remember the possible spawn spots. They really aren't that out of the way or hidden.

Because that's how you gather enough to reach rank 5 and purchase everything important.

Voidplume Pinion comes from Angels, you need those to craft stuff.
Voidplume Quill comes from that female AI, you need those to craft stuff.
Voidplume Down, Vane, and Crest comes from random spawn around the map, you need those to rank up.

I think it spawns around 8 to 10 every run, and forced to spawn at least 1 of each, something like that, so if you get all 10, you'll guarantee 1 Crest, if you are lucky, you can get more, but you'll only get them IF you roam around the map collecting it.

This isn't hard to do, and, if you talk to people in the run with you, one player could be doing this while the other 3 do the mission. When I play, I ask them if they are ok with me doing solo Angel, finding keys and collecting plumes while they do the main mission, and players are ok with this because they'll collect everything that I find anyways.

In the end, I was able to reach rank 5, and craft everything (but the two weapons that requires us to farm the parts) and YET I have a lot of plumes with me... I bought the door key, I bought the skin sphere thingy that I don't remember the name, and I bought a lot of random decorations, and yet I have a lot of plumes.

So... Yeah, it's the best way to gather as much plumes as possible per run. If you do that, if you get 1 Angel plume, 2 AI plumes, and 8-10 random plumes, you'll be fine. When I do a syndicate missions, I always set a goal, that is to get 6-8 thingies, I never leave with less than 6, to make sure I'm getting enough to reach 132k really fast.

By the way, important note, I'm MR 32, so I get 32k reputation each day, which make things easier, but the only change for lower MR is how many they get per day, so, it won't be as fast, but you'll cap the max every day anyways.
