To Kill A Necramech

I've been running assimilate nyx & radiation on redeemer P - I only manage to kill the necramech after 5 to 8 mins of reshooting its arms off.
I've been looking through forums and what'nots. Is it true that once you shoot the arms off, you should blast their back with void energy to progress faster in the fight?
Trying to understand how to kill these things. It's been seriously unclear so far without help.

use Glaive prime/xoris or any glaive weapon with volatile quickreturn only took me 2-5shoot per arm (no riven)
solo iso vault 3
edit: i forgot about time maybe 0.5-2min per necramech kill depend on the rng

i run peacful provacation equinox boost that up so it gives me 80% enimy speed reduction and if the mech jumps it cant move as fall speed is too slow which makes it a sitting target it also cant really fight back as speed reduction also affects mechs fire rate so you can chill killing the thing anywhere up to 34m away i use equinox for this as you tell me what other frame can do 80% slow for 34m for a whopping 0.2 energy drain per enimys that doesnt block energy regen from energising dash or energy siphon while active

Necramech is weak to blast dmg, not radiation.

Nope its definitely radiation. Only if you strip its armor with something should you use another element.

Ironically, the easiest way to kill a necramech is to use another necramech. Use Voidrig. 4 into turret mode. Dakka until dead.

can you use a fallen necramech that you find in freeroam to do it?
