I think Hildryn could totally use a couple buffs, But no frame is suppose to replace another frame.
Dont expect more damage buffs to her, she is supposed to be a tank.
Her 2 cleanse status proc.

Having equilibrium and bring a sentinel with Medi-ray equipped help. Taxon more preferable as his Molucular Conversion burst damage will replenish shield.
Edit: a pack of New Loka hitsquad will still kill ya tho due to stacking procs aura they gave out.

I'm used to dodge roll and bullet jumping like wild monkey on crack to keep fragile frame to survive in high lvl mission. Along with going into spoiler mode to wait out stat procs.
I think Rolling Guard mod would be another good safety measure againts status proc.
Immunity to status at Overshields - she should always have Overshields from her 2. If you're not maintaining them you have the wrong build, or the wrong approach to using her skills.
At high level content Hildryn has to choose between being a good tank and being a good DPS (at high level she greatly benefits from the minimal possible shields and maximum shield regen, because she can tank indefinitely then).
Your comment about her DPS is all lies. Her 3 is a great AoE DPS for low level content. Her 1 is a great AoE DPS up to about 140, which is plenty given that she's so tanky and has semi-decent CC also, not to mention shield and armour strip.
For anything but 100+ content a max shields, Str/Range with a bit of Duration is perfect for her, and she is pretty much unkillable and an amazing DPS. Post 100 you ought to change the build depending on pure Tank or pure DPS/CC.
The Kubrow has the protect mod which will keep ypur shields charged much better than sentinels, effectively counters the drain from her 3.
Use hunter recovery to keep you healed in-case of toxin or slash procs (arcanes help too). Link shields and your Kubrow will have over 5000 shields for super tankiness.
Mecha mods fit aura polarity, spread status procs in a large area, and make one enemy take 150% damage for easy kill and proc spread.
Plus the large shield and aoe 3 for radiation makes her a really good in your face melee frame.
Not so good against infested but good against Corpus and Grineer.

1 energy orb = 100 energy
i could constantly restore my teammate energy pool
and that will give you challenge! also maybe consider going past A rotation in arbitrations? After 6-ish rotations you gonna meet lvl 200's
