They really need to redo the Systems/Chassis/Neuroptics drop system

Farming Hildryn at the moment and am up to 14 chassis BPs, and 12 Neuroptics BPs. With a supposed 22% chance to drop from the exploiter orb, I should have gotten at least one of the systems by now, and it is so frustrating that there is NOTHING in place to keep this from continuing. If nothing else, maybe they should allow you to craft a missing BP out of the two others so you can't get screwed out of a frame just because for some reason a boss refuses to drop you the third one you need.

Wouldn't people who get carried be complaining about mission difficulty? I would think rng issues would be universal.

Complaints like these, ranging form boss difficulty, missions, standings to rng etc.

I have no issue with standing nor difficulty, and that is a rather oddly broad net of complaints to lump together. Also, how would you tell that the players who made the complaints that you have seen have been carried to where they are?

not really, at some point you will get it as 22% is pretty high and 30 runs for it is a lot but it is within the expected and nearly guaranteed aspects of the farm.

so just unlucky, no you are not feeling the code flowing, there is no lie, just RNG is such that those 22% farms will work on most cases and in most cases you will get stuff within less than 10 runs but in some cases it will not give. That stands in 22% and how it scales, it can usually drop within like 4-6 runs but for 99.99% you are looking at over 40 runs or so.

Yeah, if the math on the hildryn page is correct, 27, plus or minus 9, is the 99% area, so I still have 6 or so to go to reach the high end.

no, its actually nice, you get one part ALWAYS, unlike some other frame drop where you need to pray to the rng gods to even give you one to begin with, you can get this one in 3 run, or 100 run, its about luck, not hard to farm, only time consuming, but even if youre solo, you could do it in less than 30 min with no problem, also the other drop is insane, compared to the other bosses we have, this is probably one of the most rewarding boss right now, with ~30% chance to get rare gems (8 without any booster) which is a lot, especially if you need some quick solaris standing, and then the fish parts, i dont know who put these in as a reward but god bless this person, fishing is so boring, and you need to wait for the right temperature most of the time, but with this fight you get enough rare part for the rest of your life

I think those expected 6 runs are 95% so you get an idea how it scales.

The fight is very rewarding, but I've already farmed and built everything that I need the fish and gems for, I really just want the frame. I even got 3 of the frozen steps, and 2 of the electric steps. but 30 runs at 20 minutes each is already 10 hours on a single piece that isn't even supposed to be rare, with the guaranteed parts drops and all. Not going to lie, I actually like the fishing and tagging things in fortuna, but I think I might be alone on that one.

That's the problem with RNG is that each players experience can vary wildly, some in shortest time some may never succeed. It's probably why opinions vary wildly too.

With this event it sucks because of the boring farm for condensed thermia. Coupled with RNG that 'unlucky' person is expected to work much harder (4x vents) or give up and buy with platinum from store where another player won't benefit like selling prime parts.

I've found more often then not that Warframes RNG is wonky and will favour large runs of reoccurring drops, so if you get stuck in such a situation is often better to do something else then run the same content over and over.

If you can think of a better system, then I'd be happy to hear it. Currently, I think it's the best system which creates enough of grind, where players have to repeat missions to get everything they want, and gives DE a chance to some money from people who don't want to grind and shell out on plat. So long as the grind isn't too insane. I know it's relative to some extent, but currently I haven't heard anything better.

You get both of the cosmetics w the lowest drop rate and u complain about hildryn parts drop rate :^)

This is not how probabilities work, there's no "should have" with random chance.

I mean, it's not like I disagree with the rest of your point, a guaranteed way to get the missing part eventually would certainly be nice.

Yes. Yes there is. But that's this ENTIRE game. If you've got to this point and not realised that, what game have you been playing? A prime example is the acolytes. An event that comes by so infrequently and all of the good mods have a stupidly low drop chance. Even if you no life the game for the entire period of the event theres still a chance you wont get a single good mod. Thats how the game works I'm afraid. If you dont like that I dont think this game is right for you.

i solo this boss and 5-6 runs for full parts , pug mod more risk , solo better
