"Archgun Weapon Locked." Demands a second Catalyst. WTF?

Every archgun I made has a catalyst loaded for maximum affinity. Now, after installing a gravimag in one of them, every other gun is "locked." When I try to access them, I get a demand from the game for 20 plat to install a *second* catalyst.

you can use the ones on the ground with the gravimag, you cant use the ones without it, if you go to an archwing mission, you can use all the guns you have, a bit confusing, the top 3 slot is your archwing loadout, the bottom, if i remember correctly, is the gun you can use on the ground

One Gravimag is applied on one Arch-gun. Arch-guns with Gravimags can be equipped in the "Heavy Gun" slot to be usable on the ground.

You can still use your Arch-guns for normal Archwing missions, you need to install Gravimags on the rest of them if you want to be able to select them for ground use.

Are you trying to access them through the Heavy Gun slot or through the normal Archwing loadout slot?

Yeah, I posted in both places. I couldn't be certain the message would be read here, so I covered all my based. It was just an attempt to be thorough.

So do you understand now, or are you now outraged at the concept of having to get a Gravimag for each Arch-gun? That's a bit more understandable compared to thinking, and complaining, that you have to buy another Catalyst for each.

Buying a gravimag to use them in person-mode is fine. But as I understand it, the game is supposed to allow you to select whether the archweapon you want to load is configured for space or ground use. The game does not give me that choice. Everything is auto-configured for ground use, and I can't change it. So it demands I build six more gravimags, essentially, before I can unlock the weapons for *any* use.

Once you put the gravimag on a weapon you can place it in the "Heavy Weapon" slot.

To access the Archwing in the Arsenal... lower right is a button for "Vehicles".
This is where you can set up what archgun you want as "heavy weapon" and mod it how you please.

OH you also need the Deployment tool you get from a backroom bounty in Fortuna.

This goes on your gear wheel so you can deploy the heavy weapon.

I get that. But it doesn't work like that for me. I'm in Archwing mode, and when I select the active gun, it automatically drops down to Warframe mode and locks out all but the one weapon I have a gravimag in. Every time I move the mouse to the equipped archwing or blade weapon, the screen flips back up to the archwing screen. Like I said, it's not letting me pick space-only weapons configuration. Every time I mouse over the archgun, it flips down to warframe configuration.

Have you completed the archwing quest?

Are you using a controller?

Have you tried to verify files in game launcher? <not steam>
