Jat Kusar isn't a popular weapon, and it has a low disposition (which is completely contrary to DEs method of balancing disposition, but oh well).

Those rolls are great, but given the low disposition and most people probably not being interested, it'll go for a few hundred I'd say. All down to the buyer's preference really.

No, that's exactly how the market works. Items in demand sell for higher prices because there's competition and value. Quality affects what people want of course, so Rivens for the best guns with high Disposition sell for the most, such as Kitgun, Rubico, Tiberon, Gram etc. which can sell for many thousands (because people are ridiculous and have no sense of value).

Jat Kusar is an underused weapon, nothing particularly great about it and low Riven disposition. Therefore a Riven for it will never be worth a lot.

A few hundred is still a chunk of Plat.

Most effective melee is a Zaw in meme strike or status build. Once you have that you're done as far as "effectiveness" is concerned. You have to be a fan to shell out anything over 100p for a riven for some random niche weapon.

As far as stats go, it's pretty much a great roll for the Jat Kusar since it's a crit-focused whip. It may not sell very quickly since it's not a meta melee weapon, but that doesn't mean you couldn't sell it for a good price to someone who happens to like it.

It is a random niche weapon with some of the highest crit stats in the game and a decent base damage, although it is elemental. I guess it niche is htting hard as ♥♥♥♥ with good range, but idk.

Riven prices vary on price depending on what the buyer is looking for. Keyword being the buyer and the fact that not every weapon riven sells well or at all. Some lower dispostion rivens may sell well depending on what weapon it is (or how popular it is), while higher disposition rivens can depend on the weapon itself and if there is any interest in it. Also, depending on your rolls and if they fit the weapon or are what the buyer is looking for, are part of how much people are willing to spend on it. So, don't be surprised to see your riven not sell at all, if people just aren't interested in said weapon(s) in general.
