Khora Sucks Not worth grind IMO

Having bought Khora and raised her to level 30 I've got some issues with her.

Her first ability is neat I can go about 50k on here first ability because it uses melee mods. IF It Crits and is spammable however I would have to build for strength+Effe+Range and sacrifice duration for all other abilities.



Kavat Summoning is awesome looking but doesnt scale well and is just another kavat and while it is cool looking doesnt really contribute all that much to overall survival+mob killing past 40+.

Her 3rd ability is the LITERAL definition of meh its just a stun to lock a hallway.



While her fourth is only useful against infested defense and camping hallways Creating a literal Jungle Gym out of chains to trap things that walk inside it. Might be a decent CC on Infested, but it doesnt stop bullets or infested poison..

Why Couldn't we get an Exalted Whip? I admit I wasnt paying too much to her development but I assumed that she would have a whip with those chains.... I've only disappointed myself.

Anyone else got any thoughts on her?

exalted whip would be too op in the current primed reach+maiming strike macro meta. They will rework whips sometime soon , who knows khora might get it in a future update afterwards.

I am hoping for whip rework, I find it stupd people have 25m range and kill everything.

Haven't made Khora but I like her and what I saw of her, I realize some people like Michael Bay effect where you press one button and everything explodes but - strong weapon, cc, ability to have 2 pets is very VERY strong (tho I do have op pet with tons of forma), healing... it is a nice package, she is not made to be Saryn and clear maps, she is a spider ninja

Considering they were discussion Focus at that moment I'm pretty sure he meant Sleep Equinox + Maiming Strike focus farming method.

As for Khora, I don't have her yet, but even from description alone she seems underwhelming. Probably because of the last moment change to her design since Damage 2.5 was a big failure.

To the OP. Not every frame has to be godlike, some can be used, for, y'know, fun, that thing you should have when playing the game?

99% of the playerbase rarely goes above level 40 anyway, which seems to be her limit, according to you (since ya got no formas on her), so what's the point of the cry? She's not worth it for you? Ok, don't play her. She's worth it to me as she IS fun to play for me.

Also, she seems to be a jack of all trades (hello Oberon and Titania, who for idk what reasoning, people think they are bad) who focuses on doing bunch of stuff, and thus it's obviously not as good as class specifics, but she can do it quite well.

But then again, 99% of the playerbase want harder content, then cry that said content is too hard without a specific cheese strat.

I admit her abilities could be better, But that being said, you seem to be under the mistaken impression that every new frame released most automatically be better than all the other frames that came before it, that's simply not what is intended, the goal is for all frames to be powerful but also on par with one another, in theory it's a great idea that really encourages players to work as teams or just grab any frame that catches their eye and go with it, but for now at least in practice we have a very mixed bag and if we all sat down we'd all walk away with complaints about everything in the game, the company that runs it and the world that created it, so lets not, let's just play the game for now, mark and post what we'd like to see fixed or changed and have fun.

Ok, here's the problem with that argument though. Khora has a ton of slow summons and abilities that bring you to a standstill, Her semi exalted weapon doesn't scale well, the Kavat is glitchy (and can't use the desirable unique Kavat mods), and the cc is horribly outclassed. Yeah there are fun frames like Zephyr or Nezha that aren't super high scaling, but you can still actually do stuff like Sorties with those frames since they bring something to the table. Khora is so glitchy and poorly scaling that even doing Sortie level enemies is difficult.

Until DE puts in some major buffs/unglitches her abilities, she's a jack of no trades.

So basically for you it's not a fun frame if she can't do sorties (yet)(I still need to forma her before I will give an oppinion here)

All frames on released had some glitches, some more than others, or needed buffs after the rework (Oberon/Hydroid), but I'd rather have a weak frame in need of buffs than an OP frame in need of nerfs soon after release (Nidus). The later is a better phylosophy for selling stuff, then first is easier to balance since the only way to go is up.

For me she's fun as she is, after she gets some minor buffs and fixes, she will be just better.

Also, I think it's better that you can't use unique kavat mods. Sorry but Cat's Eye and Charm combo isn't something I for one want to see. 60% more cc applied after all modifiers (but before Blood Rush) tackled with a 200% cc, is just too much. Due to the way those 2 work, if they proc at the same time, you will get 320% flat cc, ignoring the CE tap on your weapon's cc.

I took her for a spin on Sortes today, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless. Its either build for CC on her 4th and lock down a hallway or small room or build for her first which is the only decent ability she has.



And the Kavat does Impact damage on top of Hunter mods not working save for synergy. Should have Venera as passive kavat on spawn and allow for exalted whip. I mean Wukong has his Staff, Excal has his sword, Atlas has his fist. about time another frame had an exalted weapon.


Also for the whip u could just it at certain distance and allow it minor punch through. Like maybe through a single wall and not the entire map like Excalibur.



Also lets be honest, the "hardest" content would be Raids which btw DE took the axe to. Everything else is just spam abilities/shoot OP guns at things till its dead. Hardly anything in this game requires communication or skill. And no Eidlon Hunting doesnt require either of those.

You're an Udyr main, your point is invalid.

Jokes aside, Khora is much easier to get than both Harrow and Nidus.
- Nidus can only be gotten on 1 rotation, Khora on all 3 (sucks that her bp is on C, but oh well)
- Harrow is on 2 different missions, and knowing the community, one is boring and hard, needing specific frames and settings, the other is Defection.

As for tennogen, just because you and your friends think some are better than the selected ones doesn't mean everyone does. Someone posted stuff that wasn't selected, and from all that, I didn't found anything that was better than the stuff selected.

At first I had similiar opinion, then I put a bit more mods in her, she's versatille, she has good CC(Strangledome and Ensnare - to some extent), she's good support, because Venari can both disarm and heal, she can also deal a lot of damage with Whipclaw.

EDIT: Venari needs serious modding - like you would do with a normal Kavat - to make it worthy for dealing damage over lvl30, but Protect and Heal work very well regardless of level.
