Have axi and neo relic drops on Pluto changed?

I have always farmed neo and axi relics on Pluto/Hieracon but the past day or so the drops have become quire rare? Has something changed or is it just the RNG gods?

Well, it isn't super likely to get relics in the first place there. Only rotation B and C (third and fourth excavator) even have relics; B with just under a 50% chance of a Neo relic and C with a 77% chance of an Axi. In any case, the answer is almost certainly just RNG.

The drop table is diluted with mods so consider yourself lucky to even get relics. I had 20 excavators runs with 3 relics. Excavations are for cryotic and farming enemies for resources and mods. What you get after a successful excavation is just a bonus.

Excavator is a very inefficient place to farm relics. Considering it follows the AABC reward table, you are guaranteed no relics at all for its AA drops and its B and C rotations have their relic drop tables diluted by mods as well.

I highly recommend doing Disruption for relic farming. If you have the gear and know-how to do it fast, playing solo gives you relics efficiently but in a full pre-made team, you will rack up relics much much faster than the other endless mission modes since Disruption drop tables do not loop but stay in Rotation C forever starting at wave 3.
Check the wiki to understand how you can manipulate the results to get 100% guaranteed relic type drop (Rotation B) by failing some consoles at certain rounds.

Apollo on Lua is hands down the fastest Axi farming place in the whole game.
Ur on Uranus for Neo relics.
