tips on a slash-based primary

to be used as a mod holder for my titania..
mods i use are: serration, heavy caliber, fanged fussilade, split chamber, shred, vile acceleration +2 elemental mods.. gonna change 1 fire rate mod for primed cryo rounds if i ever get my hands on one
i am quite able to have my 4 active most of the time, but due to some circumstances (too many leeches in exim. stronghold for example) i sometimes drop out..

im currently using dread as a mod holder, but it is somewhat ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beyond point blank because of heavy caliber.. most of the time i just rely on bob (my chesa kubrow) to cloak me and wait for few ticks of energy pizza but it gets annoying..
tried soma p but it feels very weak w/o crit and argon scope mods, it also drains ammo way too fast because of the fire rate mods

are the sawblade launcher weapons (miter, panthera) any good? or would they be dread-like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with heavy caliber?
also no shotguns (don't have some of the essential mods) or other slot weapons.. i usually just bring along secondary/melee for leveling because i'm mostly in razorwing anyways

If it is explicitly for use with an exalted weapon, I'd suggest a crit build, and potentially the new slash proc mod from the tactical alert. Beyond the mods, the weapon shouldn't matter too much.

Classical case of wanting to sound smart and not knowing what the f hes talking about. Read some guides online and do some testing for yourself, it might enlighten you what the best possible loadout for Dex Pixia is.

Panthera isn't bad when modded correctly or given a nice riven. I use soma prime for my go-to slash primary if you're not afraid of building for crit.

I use one of two primaries for my Tita. Either the Synoid Simulor [when I'm mostly using melee and not planning to use the primary much, it's rather good for opening crates ^_^] or the Tenora. The Synoid helps with energy [it's a mostly horrid weapon otherwise] while the Tenora is pretty decent all-around [slower-firing but harder hitting Soma?].

A good alternative is the Opticor (HC doesn't affect it much) for POE. You don't need to use a slash-based weapon since only the mods affects the Pixia.

Mods-wise...

Serration / Heavy Caliber / Split Chamber / Fanged Fusilade
Point Strike / Vital Sense / Bladed Rounds & elemental (I prefer Wildfire usually or a dual-stat mod)

I don't put Rivens or things like Argon Scope on since it doesn't seem to affect Dex Pixia.

If I plan to use the razorwing in POE, I'll swap out mods for Metal Augur & +electricity.

@OP, honestly I prefer my rubico with Titania, it just fits her playstyle to me. It's hipfire ability means it's not worthless if facing mobs as well. Other then that, Braton/Sybaris Prime or Tenora are some of the best assault rifles out there. Can't remember if tenora is slash based tho.

Tigris prime is probably your best bet, since shotgun mods tend to be better then rifle mods, and will produce more raw numbers. Especially if you have primed mods to go with it, but do understand NONE of your primary stats gets transfered over to your exalted weapon its just the mods theselves.

just to clarify.. im looking for slashed-based so the fanged fussilade mod isn't entirely useless outside of razorwing

also: how come "best possible gun for dex pixia" is a shotgun? i assumed rifles are a way to go because of additional 165% dmg from heavy caliber. well i was gonna try one once i have the essential shotgun mods

also2: hunter's munition mod works with dex pixia? believe it or not but after 35+ runs of the event i still don't have one.. i just figured it won't work like acolyte mods

Hunter munitions works on Exalted weapon such as Dex Pixia and Artemis Bow.

In that case go with the sybaris prime. It benefits from the slash mod as that turns it from an even spread to a primary slash weapon. It's also benefits from status effect mods and fire rate, only a little though.

does the sybaris p behave like the non-prime version? i kinda liked it when i used it for mastery points
