Hey don't get me wrong here I am not super clear on all the details since I am not a Zarbon who thrives on drama... but I will break it down to what I understand and you can correct me if you like.

People are in a match.. don't know what exactly.

In the match is DE Glen in a pub with three? others.

Now I have heard two differing things here ... one is that DE Glen was playing as Limbo and the other is that the person who said it was playing Limbo. But I also am of the understanding the Limbo player was AFK type leaching by all appearances.

A player states
"Limbo is gay" in chat.

Now.. was it said to DE Glen as limbo? or did the guy playing Limbo say it about himself? IDK

Either way DE has a no tolerance policy on that sort of thing and the player got game banned.

People cry a river saying "unfair" and DE backs off and un bans the player who said it.

So can you clear up what I am missing here?

nothing. its on point. just some special snowflakes trying to start another "i want to act like a moron without any consequences" crusade. and Glen was limbo so he literally insulted him

Common decency yes at all times, Respect though should always be earned and idiocy highlighted.

You can believe what you wish but I use the word Respect due to DE posting that message to you every time you log in as a warning.. "Be Respectful" -- even if you don't feel that way really, "act" that way and you won't have issues.

DE has a Right, and you agree to it, to demand you "act" a certain way when using their services.
Just the same as any business has a right to throw you out if you start to insult the customers or employees, and refuse you service in the future. Why should they put up with that ♥♥♥♥?

DE was being very kind by un banning the person.. I think it was a mistake and sends the wrong message but that is just my personal opinion on the matter. I don't have to worry about an angry mob at the gates wanting blood.

Right. Examples of Glen doing his job so far:
- excavation rewards nerf with poor test sample
- closing the discussion thread after the backlash and criticism
- programming chatbot that is the reason of million chat ban threads
- encouraging rioting via red text and then banning people in chat when they actually start rioting (insert surprised Pikachu here)
- leeching in his own game, even on his own stream
- and then, banning a player from a game (not from chat) because he "harassed" him
-oh, yeah, also calling players who use Carrier casuals with Rhinos and Boltor Primes. on the devstream. this pretty much sums up how Glen views the playerbase.

I haven't had any experience with him myself, so I don't know how true any accusations are, but according to the Reddit thread they believe he has a history of being unprofessional, petty, authoritarian, hypocritical and an abuser of his position.

Alternatively, DE could not go absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over "profanity" like "gay" and "trap" for an M-rated game.
Or, as an alternative to the alternative, they let people use the existing profanity filter, add a way for individuals to blacklist whatever the hell they want and then stop trying to micromanage every little instance of "profanity".
