Steel path survive/health advice
Working my way through steel path.
Using a Saryn viral+slash red crit melee build for her 1+3 ability (plus Kuva Nukor radiation secondary for some extra umph with stance effects stacking)
Finding I can kill large groups fine.
However, I deal with one large group then progress to the next and my health gets ripped through. So wondering how to increase health sustainability/surviving in general (using health return mod on melee per status effect, but isn't quite working).

Reaper prime: condition overload, weeping wounds, berserker, heal return, blood rush, primed fever strike, sacrifice steel, organ shatter
then
Saryn: rejuvenation, coalition drift, overextend, blind rage, streamline, stretch, sacrificial vitality, sacrificial intensity, sacrificial fibre, power drift.
Using Zenurik focus for energy regen.

Maybe I just need to slow down my gameplay and let the mods work there stuff more before moving on to the next group... But any tips from the guys that do several hours on steel path void survival would be nice :).
As a gauge: Just done Ukko (capture, lvl 130-135) via an incursion then oxomoco (exterminate, lvl 130-135), completed them with high kill counts, but used all 4 revives doing it lol :steamhappy:

i use Regenerative molt augment to escape and heal

i use mesa's shooting gallery augment on saryn, muzzle flash + primed sure footed + nighwatch napalm kuva ogris with firestorm ( huge area denial just by shooting at ur feet, with a riven it melts 130 lvl officers after ~5 shots, meaning it will melt SP even faster ) It carried me through 1 hour SP mot survival just fine.
basically u can put any CC ability, resonator, silence e.t.c. gloom is kinda of a meh option, but can work as long as u dont get oneshot (and have arcane energize and at least 130 eff), cus it heals from abilities too

For me I just use wukong with high duration and efficiency and adaptation for survival (wukong is already tanky). Primary acceltra, secondary epitaph for spreading status, and melee either sepfahn with condition overload, berserker, primed reach, blood rush, drifting contact, organ shatter, 60/60 mod for poison and cold+exodia force (i use sepfahn+peye+jai II) or dokhrahm with condition overload, berserker, primed reach, blood rush, drifting contact, organ shatter, 60/60 mod for poison and cold+exodia hunt/force(dokhram+jayap+ekwana jai II).
Other than wukong lots of warframe can do well in steel path now because of sevagoth subsume ability give livesteal.

If your issue is keeping health up over time rather than being one-shot or something, you could try Magus Repair from Little Duck. In operator void mode it heals all nearby frames, including yours, for 25% max health per second (at max). Great for quickly and easily healing yourself and others using any frame at the cost of just one operator arcane slot.

you could aslo try to subsume gloom, it's a good area slow and life leech.

• Regenerative molt is going to be your cheapest option, every time you use your 2 it heals a percentage of health over a few second.
• Dont forget to use your 4 as well, it will help kill enemies faster + it stuns them for a few second
• Alternatively you could be using Gloom, a phenomenal ability that slows nearby enemies and gives life steal, youll never get low as long as you have enough energy and are constantly shredding enemies.
• Breach Surge is a very useful CC ability that stuns/blinds enemies within a pretty beefy radius and continuously multiplies its own damage as it passes to other enemies, doesnt heal but it will help not needing to.
• Radial blind is self explanatory, nice for CC
• Defy i believe can be decent for i-frames
• Shooting Gallery is also good for nearby CC

• Rolling guard - gives a status cleanse and 3s i-frame when you dodge roll
• Adaptation - up to 90% status resistance to every damage type youre hit with, will help you take a bit less dmg
• You could also use the Synth mods on a Vulpaphyla (since they never fully die, and the Panzer variant can strip enemy armor completely) so they spawn health orbs with enemies they assist in killing, then you could use equalibrium so energy orbs give health and vice versa.
• Vulpaphylas also have an augment you can buy from father named Martyr Symbiosis, your vulpa with take health from corpses and then when you take lethal damage, your vulpa sacrifices itself and i-frames you and gives you some more health.
• You could also equip an Extinguished Dragon Key to lower your shields drastically, this will make Shield Gating easier to manage. Your shields will get 1 shot but if you use the augur mods, using abilities will convert that energy into shields so if you immediately refill your shields with those mods youll be granted 1.3s of invulnerability

I might be forgetting some other mods/abilities but these are some of the big ones both myself and other people use

Life strike provides much more health than healing return although it will consume combo counts due to it triggering by heavy attacks. For managing status effects, which are usually what either kills me or fatally distracts me, I use Titania's subsumed ability Spellbind. (hold down the casting key!)

non meta but,
zephyr with divebomb augment
put pillage for added overshield/status remove/armor strip for anything that turbulence cant
then just keep pressing 1 on everything until it goes 9999% damage, can hover to preserve the stacks too now since rework.

hemmorhage catchmoon, pretty good since it goes 2x effect on low rof, 1-2 hit and watch it bleed in few seconds

on call crewmates on steel path for extra firepower, give it acceltra, 3 minute of map clearing when needed. Can be useful when you want to get a drink, cast zephyr 3 tell your crew to stay, now it wont die and keep killing.

Magus elevate is an awesome choice. I always use it over magus repair because it it just faster to use. You just spam 5 to enter and leave transference and boom, you are full health in no time, whereas with magus repair you gotta crouch around in void mode for few seconds before your warframe's health is full.

The only time I'd use magus repair over magus elevate would be a frame with high health levels such as inaros, because magus elevate heals a flat amount of health but magus repair heals a percentage of it.
